  1. Ozil has the easiest life in the whole world as a footballer, no pressure on him what so ever, always plays 90 minutes without working hard, just has to stroll around and maybe come up with a corner or a pass to make an assist, no matter what the score is, as long as he does that, these cringey Arsenal fans love him for that. He gets rests alot by the manager, he is pampered so much its embarrassing and he knows it, the only thing now which affects his career is that Germany want their players to be playing Champions League football, so that probably is the reason why he wants to leave but on the other hand he has such an easy life at Arsenal and for the money they will offer him to stay he be silly not to take it.
  2. The Board need to have a serious think now that keeping Wenger was a huge mistake, its very clear no one wants to play for him apart from the average players no other big team would want. Its a very sad state the club is in, the board are clueless, nothing has changed, the club is in a downward spiral with all this money floating around and even when they are finally sharing it out, still no one wants to stay because its Wenger that is the problem.
  3. Sanchez looks like he will leave now with the deadline of his contract, same with OX, I think Ozil always to leave but no one wants him. Arsenal is in a huge mess, they have kept a manager on which no one really wants to play for by the look of it with also Mustafi leaving.
  4. Mustafi is on the verge of joining Inter Milan. He and Xhaka have probably been one of the worst buys in the history of the club considering the value involved. Very worrying the club is selling all the centre backs plus Rob Holding has just been frozen out after just 1 game. Strong rumours again Van Dijk coming to Arsenal for cash plus chambers.
  5. Vorm should be given a chance he has played well when he has came in.
  6. They have one who can do both sitting on the bench, Vorm is very good at both
  7. Lloris is a decent shot stopper but his distribution is awful.
  8. We will be around the top 5 again but will not be competing for any honours.
  9. The team isnt the problem its the carnage of the manager and people running the club. The biggest myth that Arsenal are a well run club.

  11. Tottenham have signed defender Davinson Sanchez from Ajax in a reported club record £42m deal, subject to a medical and a work permit after he agreed a 6 year contract. The Colombia centre-back has agreed a six-year deal and will be the Premier League club's first summer signing. "I am very excited to be signing for such a famous club as Tottenham Hotspur," said Sanchez, 21. "I am looking forward to working with [manager] Mauricio Pochettino and the players and meeting everyone there." He added: "I would like to thank the coach, management, players and fans of Ajax. It is a great move for me to come here to develop my career."
  12. Arsenal must be buying a defender, already short and selling defenders wouldnt make sense if others arent brought in, but this is Arsenal I suppose.
  13. Depends if Nice make the Champions League, they are 1-1 with Ajax and play in Amsterdam tomorrow.
  14. Arsenal need to sort the defence out massively, its very worrying that Wenger has played Elneny in defence in every pre season game, which tells you what he has in mind. No way in a million years he is good enough to play in defence let alone in midfield.
  15. Tim Fosu-Mensah admits this week has been an emotional time in his life following the news that his former AFC Ajax team-mate Abdelhak Nouri has suffered brain damage. The 20-year-old sustained heart rhythm problems during the game against Werder Bremen last Saturday, and his chances of recovery from the damage have tragically been reported as nil. Since then, the football world has rallied around, Blind and Fosu-Mensah are both former Ajax players who knew Nouri personally, yet Tim were particularly close to the player after rising through the Amsterdam club’s famed academy together. MUTV spoke to Fosu-Mensah before Friday morning’s training session at UCLA… Firstly Tim, it must have been a tough couple of days for you with the news from Ajax? Yeah definitely. I played with him since the age of eight so it is very sad, and a very difficult time for me as well with what has happened to him. With that in mind, has it been hard to keep training this week? As the saying goes, 'life goes on' but every time when I wake up it is the first thing that I am thinking about. It hurts me a lot, I speak to my old team-mates at Ajax and we try to be strong together. How have you found the week at UCLA? To be fair, very well. I enjoy every session and I enjoy every day being here. It is difficult, what happened, but when I play football I try to think about nothing but football. After is after. When I am back I will try to have contact with a couple of mates but when I am on the pitch, all of my focus is on the pitch. Are the new signings settling in well? I think they are settling in very well because this group... we have is a wonderful group. Everyone is so kind so they feel at home straightaway. There is definitely a great team spirit. It is very nice to know the players are very good, if you need help then they help you, so the new signings are settling in very well. Is this summer a good opportunity for you to impress the manager and stake your claim? Yeah, I train hard, I do my best and every opportunity I get I try to grab it.
  16. Ajax fans and players went to Nouris family home to show their respects. Thats so hard to watch his fathers reaction when he is back in the car
  17. This was a video Ajax made leading up to his debut last year which he scored.
  18. Yea its so traggic everyone was so looking forward to see him in the first team this year. Now this happens out of the blue, he even had a full medical test last week. It looks like he will die or it will through euthanasia which is legal in Holland. His family wouldnt want to have him live like that. I hope he does wake up and has made any sort of recovery. #StayStrongAppie
  19. His brother spoke on Dutch news. Elder brother Abderrahim said that doctors have informed the family that prospects of Nouri regaining any level of independent living are extremely slim. "The doctors are quite confident that he will not recover. If he were to wake up, he would not be able to think, eat, talk, walk or even recognise people," he told AD. "He would not be able to function normally. "But we are not giving up. God will decide his fate. Our religion [Islam] teaches us to accept things and we are praying for his recovery. "We think this life is only temporary and the eternal comes after this one, but everybody would have liked to see him score goals first."
  20. Such a shame. Was a wonderful talent. Thinking about him snd his family.
  21. Reports everywhere now about Van Dijk with Arsenal but i reckon its to speed up Man City.
  22. Lemar has agreed a contract with Arsenal but Arsenal and Monaco are just sorting out a fee.
