Hugely. Has brought a lot of balance to the defensive side of midfield and seems to have built a good partnership with Rice. When one goes up the other sits. While he and Rice are similar, they have a lot of energy between them and both perform their roles very well; they're in and around both boxes so they either support the defence or they're an extra body when going forward. Mainoo links up better in the opposition box. Nearly set up Foden with a great through ball.

Debatable. Not sure Dutch had the better of that half. They just closed up and became more narrow and compact and it became quite cagey for a while. Netherlands didn't make Pickford work barring the Van Dijk shot from a good free kick. Subs were better from Southgate considering two of them had an impact on the game with the 2nd goal. As for 1st goal, don't think you'll see anyone disagree that it wasn't a penalty. But the performance itself warranted more than going into half time level. In my humble opinion of course.

Sorry but where was the dive I agree it's not a penalty 100% but it's just incidental contact. It's definitely not a dive.
