  1. Unless Edwards get snapped up by someone else. Hopefully not, and I'd love to see Luton survive considering their comparative budget and history.
  2. Can't remember the last time there was a 3-way race for the title, let alone automatic promotion! Leeds play Southampton on the final day but I suspect that may not have all that much significance as previously expected... Next round of games: Norwich vs Ipswich Coventry vs Leeds Leicester vs Birmingham Blackburn vs Southampton Stoke vs West Brom Watford vs Preston Middlesbrough vs Swansea Cardiff vs Hull
  3. Updated after the weekend and for GW34 rescheduled games: Have also taken out Crystal Palace for now because there needs to be an 8-point swing in Luton's favour currently, and it's very unlikely that happens... A difficult GW31 beckons for all teams - as they all take on teams in the top half and all teams vying for a European spot, barring Forest who host Fulham.
  4. Updated after the weekend and also with games in hand re-scheduled for GW34 Top 2 expected to win their next game - both at home to relegation-threatened teams. Villa could put Man City under a lot of pressure if they sneaked a win away. You'd think top 5 is pretty much sorted (although not in that order?) but there could be a change when you look at Man Utd's fixtures between GW34-36 and the same for Tottenham... Then the race for 7th is still intriguing given only 3 points separate 7th and 10th. (and a further point for Chelsea in 11th).
  5. Tuesday Newcastle 3-0 Everton Nottm Forest 1-0 Fulham Bournemouth 1-0 Crystal Palace Burnley 1-2 Wolves West Ham 1-2 Tottenham Wednesday Arsenal 4-0 Luton Brentford 1-2 Brighton Man City 2-0 Aston Villa Thursday Liverpool 3-0 Sheff Utd Chelsea 2-1 Man Utd
  6. Saw a clip of it. Was there anything that went on beforehand between them? Can you imagine the uproar if it happened the other way round?!
  7. Slater you absolute melon. What are you thinking of making a challenge like that.
  8. Week 33 Results Torino 1-0 Monza Aberdeen 2-1 Ross County Metz 2-5 Monaco Hertha Berlin 3-3 Nurnberg Austin FC 2-1 FC Dallas Melbourne Victory 2-1 Perth Glory Arsenal Women 1-0 Chelsea Women Girona 3-2 Real Betis Sturm Graz 0-1 RB Salzburg Marseille 0-2 PSG Round-up A strong showing from all that predicted, as everyone scored about 13 and the average for the week was just above 16 points. Highest of the week came from the player at the bottom, as @Pyfish scored 21 points. @Viva la FCB is the new occupant of 2nd place as he scored 17 points; he and myself both got 3 perfect scores. @Tommy moves up 1 spot taking 6th back.
  9. I hate Hull, but will not hate them for 90 mins later tonight. Do the business you cunts.

  11. That didn't seem a red card to me. There was another defender very close by. Davis wouldn't have been one on one with the keeper.

  14. Hopefully. Although games do come round quickly still... We have 3 games between 6th and 12th April. So squad will need to be ready but today gives me some glimmer of hope that they are still interested and do have the mental strength to get back to it.
  15. Much better today. Got forward quicker a lot more and didn't slow the game down as much as we have in previous games. There seemed to be a lot more fight in us today, especially straight after half time pinning Norwich back. Important we got the goal back before half time as well otherwise it would have been a bad reception and plenty of booing no doubt. Having Ricardo back is such a boost, too. Back to the top and over to Ipswich and Leeds to get 3 points. But hopefully not. Could do with Southampton drawing with Ipswich.
  16. If Norwich really cared about their rivalry with Ipswich and really hated them, they'd let us win and save their energy for their game with them...
  17. Liverpool's to lose. Especially with the likes of Alisson, TAA and Jota still to return.
  18. I'm tired of football now these days. Not even because my own club is caught up in the mire and mud of it all. But too much of the game is dictated and spoken about off the field matters. Little matters about what talent or results happen on the pitch any more.
  19. Kieran Maguire noted a part of the accounts where the ability to 'trade is a concern'. £255m in total over 3 seasons.
  20. all kick-offs 19.30 (BST) unless stated all games on TNT Sports Tuesday 2nd April, 2024 Newcastle vs Everton Nottm Forest vs Fulham Bournemouth vs Crystal Palace, 19.45 Burnley vs Wolves, 19.45 West Ham vs Tottenham, 20.15 Wednesday 3rd April, 2024 Arsenal vs Luton Brentford vs Brighton Man City vs Aston Villa, 20.15 Thursday 4th April, 2024 Liverpool vs Sheff Utd Chelsea vs Man Utd, 20.15
