@Dave @Devil-Dick Willie Random question but do you ever take a break from wrestling? The thing with it is is it never stops. In football you get a break. When you watch a great TV show you get a break. But with wrestling you don't. Do you ever take a break from it for a few weeks or so?

Yeah all the time. Currently I'm taking a break from having a fucking life because it's week 9 of the semester, got 4 subjects plus working 4 days a week. I couldn't watch anything with any regularity at the moment.

  2. Ange is kinda bad. Always was. He has 1 plan. It's a decent one, but it needs the right troops and buy in. When results don't come, he can't adapt. At all. Ever. There is a reason he was pressured into leaving before Australia played in the WC he qualified us for. He was trying to play elite progressive football on cow patches, with bricklayers for players. Played to 0 of Australias strengths and against 0 of awful asian teams weaknesses.

The Spurs team he has is too bits and pieces, Johnson was an absolute garbage transfer.

This Haitian stuff is even worse than post 9/11 hysteria imo. The latter started off after probably one of the biggest event of this century so far but this is being perpetuated out of straight lies over nothing

It's funny because on insta and other platforms my feed was immediately spammed with memes about it (because it combines my traditional 2 big brainrot favorites, pet videos, and edgy humor) but looking in comments you see soooooo many people talking about how it's a real thing and how trump must win. The cultural impact of him telling a bare faced (but funny) lie based on some bullshit he saw on CNN is outrageous.

Forest and Everton aren't the problem with what's happened to Premier League football though. Nor are Leicester.

Football shouldn't come down to which clubs are unlucky enough to be sold to lunatics like those two.

Meanwhile nobody at the Premier League seems to give a shit about the elite clubs who have monopolised English football, and in the case of some of them, contribute every year to the sheer unsustainability of football by spending unconscionable amounts of money driving ridiculous inflation.

All of us fans of the "make up the numbers" clubs shouldn't be wasting our time bickering over who breached PSR by £20m this time. We should all be outraged at the fact that our clubs are held accountable to these rules but if you're lucky enough to have been astonishingly rich before they were introduced then you just get off with it every year. Chelsea and Man Utd are worse run clubs than Everton, Forest and Leicester. I may have some respect for a set of rules like these when they're held to the same standards as us.

Imagine you're at an American school. It's lunchtime, and you and your 2 buddies bully some students, then call a teacher a dumb slut. Then the rich kid comes to class with his AR 15 and kills 115 students just after lunch.
Sure, you aren't the news headlining student, but you deserve punishment for the things you did nonetheless.

    Follow the rules next time.

@Dave. @Devil-Dick Willie When someone found out I was going to wembley to watch wrestling they asked me if I knew it wasn't real. xD

I can't believe some people still think wrestling fans don't know that

"I'm going to the cinema to watch Dune 2"

Uhhhh you know it's fake right?

  6. Finished it today. Lord. Awful. I disagree with Rick saying it it better than the last 3 seasons of GOT. It's as bad as season 6 was. Worse than season 7.

Every episode is new drama, rather than plots unfolding naturally. A new character will be introduced then die same episode, so almost nothing carries weight at all. Very very very very few of the significant characters are likable. At all. There are just so few reasons to watch the bloody thing I was happy it ended.

  7. Country is shite after years and years of shite leadership
Country commits economic suicide to 'get rid of the immigrants' and 'win our nation back'
Country remains under shite leadership through this time
    Country gets worse rapidly
Country finally gets so bad the opposition are voted in
10 seconds later right wing rioters marching in the street asking 'how did we let immigrants do this to our country?'

You said "or even inferior to" originally which is where I thought you were over reaching. I'm glad we can agree now though.

In the case of stan the man, yes.

Murray is nowhere near the other three but neither were any of those guys you've mentioned close to him. He spent most of that era ahead of at least one of the big three in the world rankings. Murray under performed in terms of grand slam titles but if you look deeper into his results in Masters 1000, end of year championships, Olympic titles, and the fact he made it to the #1 ranking it tells a different story about his career. He even won the Davis Cup with a GB team who had no other top 50 singles players and a doubles team so bad that he had to play that with his brother as well more often than not.

Ferrer and Cilic xD. Sorry but that take is as embarrassing as the people who convince themselves Murray stacks up anywhere near to Nadal, Federer and Djokovic. Wawrinka is the only one of those named that have any claim to being equal to Murray and that's only if your analysis goes as deep as "how many slams did he win?". Murray's career wipes the floor with his by any other measure. I don't know how you can even pretend to claim that Murray is in any way "even inferior to" any of those players you've named. There's not even a debate there.

Your analysis just cries out a belief that tennis is only played for 8 weeks a year at the majors. Yes they're the most important tournaments, yes anyone who still tries to claim that Murray belongs in a top four are massively over-reaching but anyone who tries to pretend that he's anything like David fucking Ferrer in stature is over-reaching just as much.

I think Stan, in his short peak, was as good as Murray at his much longer peak. Based on the tennis not the titles either.

I don't think Cilic and Ferrer are as good as Murray, don't twist my words, I just think they're closer to him than he is to the big 3 however. And that's a hill I'm more than ready to die on.

I'd rather see him get bronze and finish on a win than get silver and finish on a loss. Probably the best British athlete of my generation. I'm not a big tennis fan but from what I gather he was extremely unlucky as he was playing at the same time of 3 of the greatest ever tennis players. If he'd been born in a different time he would of probably one more I've been told

This is entirely unfair to Murray, but I stand by it.

I will always resent him, not for anything he did (though him being a bitter Scottish twat was good for a laugh) but I hated the British media spin on that era of tennis.

    "The big 4".

Except number 4 was sooooooooooooo far behind the others he could barely see them. He had a decent record against Federer The slowest and most 'skillful'. Nadal and Novak killed him at every opportunity. He was held aloft with Djokovic, Federer and Nadal, despite being MUCH closer in stature (and even inferior to) the likes of Wawrinka, Cilic, Ferrer and Del Potro.

I said it at the time and will stand by it. It was a big 3. A huge 3, the best ever 3. Murray didn't deserve to be held aloft with them at all.

  11. We have a womens football section in this forum and the rule is you're not allowed to trash womens football there so I'll do it here.

I watched Australia vs Zambia. What a fucking utter shitshow. The teenagers that play down the road on a pitch that's muddier than your mums butthole and next to a creek that floods and they regularly have to fish balls out of is a significantly higher level than the shite I was belly laughing at last night. Pay them less until they get the idea jesus christ.

I'm quite surprised he said it to be honest. I can't stand him but he is normally a very good debater

He's not a stupid person (he is a hack though). His political alignment requires him to defend the indesensible at times though, so he has to reach for dumb arguments that hold no water for anyone with an IQ over 90

If he does somehow loose are we expecting him to call it a fraudulent election again

It just tells you he never truly believed the first result was fraudulent. If it was, this election would also be, and the exercise would be pointless.
