  1. Thank God for Eden eh? There wasnt much to thrill Chelsea hearts throughout the game. Lack-luster constant break down of moves and shaking of heads when one of ours (Normally Kante last night) inability to retain the balls movement. It was a hard watch and we really are not built to defend 1-0 leads, although it was pointed out to me last night we have let in the least amount of goals at home this season in the PL (If true.) Special call out to Pedro. Class.
  2. The word was so strong Weds night the club felt they had to respond! Bruce Buck spoke on Sky re-assuring everyone Roman is still committed to the club, often ringing a few times a day..... Asking about things! Haha It looked like a rushed interview and very poorly done by Sky who probably couldnt believe they had been let inside the ground on a none fixture night. It's alleged the Moscow Times wrote Roman has set a 2.5B price on the club (I can't find the piece, it is difficult to find Russian print). Taken as a ballpark figure its been pointed out that he would never reach that asking price because the ground still needs to be updated with some stating he is at least 1 billion heavy. Maybe that proves the point, he really does not want to sell? We shall see.
  3. Brighton were poor opposition last night and their fans should be very worried where their season ends when our also poor side can toy with them. For me the most important thing to re-surface last night was the rumour that was banding about the ground that the club will have new owner by next season. It's been obvious too all regular home fans that Roman does not attend games this season. We know the Gov removed his permission, but he seemed to have found a way with a different passport. It's now April and still no show. Who the interested parties are, are currently a mystery, but we can be sure it will be someone with Challenger Deep pockets. Up too 4 different people\groups are said to have made contact with his people? We shall see. The above might help explain why the manager is still in position. ----------------------------------------- Nice that CHO got his full debut at home. He played ok. Does all you would expect of a young player. For everything good, he gives the ball away twice! Still, there is obviously a wonderful player to come to fruition over the coming years. I'll be taking his Chelsea career with a pinch of salt after the Munich affair which has become evident his family were behind. I am still to forgive Ruben for pretty much the same.
  4. Heading too a new low, it took Willian to dance infront of the eyes of a linesman and injury time winner to save face. A face I am sure was universally embarrassed, even after the game on all Chelsea fans world over. There is no doubt of the feelings of our traveling fans. I notice elsewhere at this board on another thread Chelsea fans laying blame at the players feet for yesterdays performance. Simply Amazing!
  5. As much as Dave has deteriorated before our eyes this season its has to be said the whole team are as low in performance levels as I can remember over the past Twenty years. We are playing a back four and two left wing backs on the staff covering the left back position. It's pretty universally agreed Alonso is a poor defender and when playing in a back four he loses the majority of his best play, going forward. Emerson is a fucking useless defender, who could never break even on his good against bad on performance. The manager hasnt once tried Dave at left back this season. He used to do a good turn there a couple of seasons ago and a change of position again might help regain some better performances. Personally, if the manager was going to be as Pig Headed as he has proven so far this season, I would have preferred he used Jay Dasilva. I have seen a lot of the boy over the years and he by far a better defensive player than either of the two wing backs we have covering the position and of course, Dasilva is one of ours. Anyways, the almost violent anti Sarri feeling among traveling Chelsea fans shown Sunday, again, & coupled with the pretty much universal backlash on Chelsea boards since, one can only feel he is hanging by the Europa thread. Then Sky Sources tease us with possible moves to be made after high level talks at Stamford Bridge Monday. I aint holding my breath!
  6. Today we watched the best Chelsea 45 mins of the season........ ~ Yep our manager just said that after the game! This following quote is taken from a long time Chelsea jurno who was at today's game working. "Some years ago, only yards away from where I now sit, I saw a man trudge away to be sacked. He had delivered amazing, free-scoring football, winning the double. His crime: finishing second. The degree to which Chelsea's standards and expectations has dropped is incredible." ---------------------------------------------------- After getting something resembling a "Barcelona European helping hand" in the whole Europa draw on Friday, we find ourselves clinging onto that secondary hope for relevant top level midweek football next season. Top level? That description is a fucking joke tagged with our club at the moment. Sarri ~ Simply the WORST. ~ Thank God for the International break, and that's something I havent said for 20 years.
  7. This year the highest rated side we have beaten is Tottenham Hotspur, who are losing to many teams of late. The rest of the teams we have beaten are pretty much run of the mill teams, most not Premier League level and we have failed to beat at home both Southampton and Wolverhampton. We are being sent into battle in most games with two of the most uninfluential midfield players in the attacking phase I have seen at the club, plus a midfielder being used in a new way since his world leading holding play. Other players are not being given the chance from the start to show they would benefit the team far more in an attacking phase and are often brought on when we are behind chasing the game. I am no fan of Reuben Loftus-Cheek, but it was obvious he should have started on Sunday and the bollocks spoken (yet again) by the manager about fitness was blown out the water with Ruben confirming to two regular Chelsea Jurno's he was fit to start for 90 mins. Granted Ruben is often injured, but his word is different to the manager. Now we are told its the other players fault Jorginho isnt playing well. Since Glenn Hoddle, only AVB is worse as a Chelsea manager and our current twat will replace him as the worst if we dont win anything or make CL.
  8. Bet you wished you waited until today's thrilling effort was out the way before offering this opinion?
  9. Worst-case scenario? An asterisk against City name for all achievements since the club was taken over by Shiekh Mansour. Line was once used against my club and yes, would need alot more asterisks! But as Happy Blue points out, what you cant prove is about as much use as a Fart in a Spacesuit worn by the accusers.
  10. Enjoyed the game against very weak opposition. Result pretty much makes that obvious. Difficult to pick out anybody from the game, but feel one must highlight David Luiz basically getting on his knees and giving the manager the sweetest of blowjobs before the game continuing with his desperate quest to gain a longer than one year contract. One can only imagine what the other older squad players thought of his Brown nosing!
  11. As I am sure you are aware, the manager does not rate Kante as a football player and I feel sure if given his preference, he would\would have, moved Kante on and use the money for players he deems as quality on the ball. I have not forgotten what the manager said after the club made a huge amount of the new contract Kante signed. He pissed all over Kante and his abilities as a football player and the buzz around the club was before the season the manager told the club which players he felt wouldnt be able to play his way. Batshuayi Bakayoko Moses Zouma Giroud Drinkwater were all on that list along with Kante. It's important everyone remembers the fuck up's this manager has made over his time at the club, opinions he has made public on both players & club and his inability to change his strategy once he was sussed by the Everton manager at Stamford Bridge allowing everyone to see how much of a weak point his fav player is to our team. Something to this day he continues to weaken us with everytime he picks Jorginho. I am not against a change of playing style which brought us 10+ major trophies and helped us become one of the most feared teams in Europe (Read what the players of Barcelona's so called footballs best ever club side said about us during that time). I just feel and have done from before the season started we have allowed the wrong person to be in charge of that style change. His weakness has been fully exposed and he has lost all intelligent Chelsea fans backing. Still, i'll be there Thursday night, as per usual. Sitting suffering n shaking my head. I just wish Roman was sitting in the crowd too!
  12. Sarri is only fooling the weak minded ~ Anyone who still thinks he is the right manager for us are fully exposed as nothings & we wont forget ~ The bold in your posting sums him up perfectly and has us sitting watching in the crowd roaring with laughter ~ He will last till the end of the season, but we now have the players openingly confessing they have been asking to change tactics Since before the Maine Road fiascle. SARRIBALL? It's the biggest named insult to the 100,000 other mangers who played 4 3 3 before him.
  13. With the warm weather we have been enjoying, it seems to have confused Spurs who are playing as though Spring is here already.
  14. Team played very well and was set up in a far more intelligent manner compared to the over open display at the new Maine Road a couple of weeks ago. I felt, and those around me in the ground, as the game progressed we became more and more confident they wouldnt score and we became a stronger unit moving forward. I guess the drawback to how he set up the side left us without someone to finish off the great work the rest of the team produced late in the game. Alas, all this has been destroyed by a mad moment of miss-understanding. Our record signing goalkeeper behaved like a child who was looking forward to being the hero, only to have it taken away from him for cry-wolfing one too many times. While he is at fault, those immediately below the manager do not come out of this well and this has fueled an outbreak of sorrow towards the manager from the important people talking about this, the Chelsea fans. Even people like myself who never wanted him anywhere near my club, feel for him and how the pictures portrayed him & will be used time again in the future as an example of this kind of thing. Its not the worst example I can remember in Sport. Back in the 90's Adrian Dantley refused to be substituted during a Detriot Pistons Basketball game by coach Chuck Daly. While blows were not exchanged at the time, its said they were in the locker room. I doubt blows were exchanged at Wembley, but the aftermath of the game strengthens the belief their will be a caretaker manager soon after the Spurs game.
  15. Game was garbage which we pretty much come to expect with this manager. There were some boos at the end of the game but not enough for comment from the media. There is no doubt intelligent Chelsea fans have this guy sussed and feel he isnt doing enough to improve the performances. We had two players make the Uefa.com Fans' Team of the Year 2018 and this guy plays neither of them in their correct position. Sarri was asked after the game if he sensed any frustration from the crowd about the football being played: "No. Of course not." Says his mind was on other things. Needs to wash his ears out. Anyway, the most important point to make over the last few days was the managers public "Back me or Sack me" plea for the club to listen to him on transfers. First while talking Cesc he said was asked if a replacement would come in? "I have no idea. "The club knows very well my opinion. I need a player there so it depends on the club's decision. "I cannot do any more." Then, in what may have been revealing of a dressing down by the club to keep his mouth shut on transfers he replied to another press man asking him about transfers he replied. "You have to contact the club and ask about the market, because if you ask me about the market, you put me in trouble because I don't know how to answer. " However in the middle of all this he told the press the club should listen to him because he is an important person at the club. I think what he meant was he is the manager and should have some opinion that is listened too. We can be sure, Higuain is his preferred choice of forward. The word around the ground on Saturday is pretty much what is in the media. The club do not want to sign Higuain. Two reasons, one, his age does not fall into the clubs outlook on signing players and Two, Higuain's reputation of being trouble. It seems the manager is being given enough Rope to hang himself with the club looking into signing the Argentine. If it is true that the club will take over the loan agreement from Milan that is in place with Juventus, I can understand that, but I have read this morning Juventus will not allow that and want a sale. Typical of Juventus who have us, well all English clubs down as transfer mugs. If buying him is the only way of getting him here, we should turn tail and look elsewhere. We know Higuain is his man so some of us hope he comes and is as clever as Morata adding more weight to the manager being moved on, if that was to come to fruition it would give him some free time to get his ears syringed! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Fabregas has moved on and I enjoyed watching him play for his new club last night. Interesting to see Henry played him up behind the forwards at first, but as the game past, Cesc moved further back. Funniest thing I have read this past weekend was at a Chelsea board where they had a vote for the best thing Cesc did in a Chelsea shirt? The winner was making Fernandinho a complete and utter mug, when Cesc got him sent off up in Manchester. Sure made me laugh too. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Callum Hudson-Odoi will leave the club as soon as he is allowed. At least this is what we are being told. So when the crowd burst into song for him to stay, it kinda paints a clear picture of our failings as a club since the early days of Romans money. With almost all of our players getting plenty of illuminating transfer stories about themselves, isnt it interesting, up to now, not one word on the one guy we are most desperate to keep. Eden ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Lastly, how about that William??
  16. Kids got blown out by Peterborough last night. It was a pure physical thing in the end, but wonderful experience for the boys. After our ultra rare early exit from the Youth cup, this is turning into one of the most bleak youth seasons we have had in a decade. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Transfer window has been very interesting so far. For a club who refuse to talk to the media on anything to do with transfers until the player is either sold or signed, there seems to be a lot of information on what Maria is doing during this window in the public domain. Sky cant have a hour without a story about one or two of our possible dealings with them quoting multiple sources. Munich are enjoying a pound of our flesh returning what we did to them with Ballack, which can only mean they are confident the players agent is in their camp. While we have taken on the American midget early, something that seems to have been kept under wraps, it's a shame we are now dominating the airwaves with other stories. The fruition of Higuain possible arrival will show us how much faith the owner has in his manager. Seems to me its a deal that goes against everything the club have been trying to do to balance the books. I like the player, dont like his age or the money he will cost us. I guess Sky will tell us before the club do.
  17. I have done 6 hours of conversation\analysis\evaluation elsewhere with others at last nights game and I can pretty much sum up the game in one sentence. A perfect example of how to set up a side making it as difficult as possible for your own team to score a goal. What a fucking waste of our best player ~ Picking the ball up deep in our own half Oh and for the Morons, like the manager who state, "We were the better team on the night" No we wernt, we fucking lost and they won at a canter. -------------------------------------- Funniest shit these past few days. The Manager "CHO is now ready to play from the start in all games" Nothing to do with him wanting too leave then?
  18. Morata’s Miss! Haha I am sure you have worked out out I am not Reuben Loftus-Cheek biggest fan, however, for the first time in his Chelsea career I will highlight him for some good. He was obviously not 100% running into the game, news that was made available by the club. Yet he made himself available, putting the club before himself. That is EVERYTHING I like to see in a player and may I be so cheeky to say, Jose was onto the younger Reuben Loftus-Cheek for the very same thing years ago in Australia. Shame its taken so long, but I will be cutting the boy some slack from now on, as long as we get more evidence of him putting the club before himself. Anyway, who did our JOKE of a manager bring on? Jesus FUCKING wept. I give up, I truly do. How many games this season has he run to Eden when we cant break a team down who we started a weaker 11 against? It really is laughable. Talking of our fool. I have to agree with the many Chelsea fans who have highlighted over the last few days why is the manager telling the club to sort out Eden on a decision AND telling the club we need to sort out the CF problem. If he knows nothing about our last 50M signing, its obvious he is here to do as he say he does, improve players on the training pitch and pick the team. Deflecting from his shit public work? I don’t know. But thrilled so many others have seen through him. Morata’s Miss Haha Plenty of nice words for our latest new kid from the youth ranks who some are saying came of age in the 2nd half. I am and always have been a harder taskmaster than the average Chelsea fan and I wont be swinging my cock above my head just yet. I have been watching Callum at Chelsea for many years thanks to CTV and there are a few things I want to share. For as long as I can remember he has been one of the youngsters who have played opposite wing to their strong foot, a Chelsea Cobham trick going back to Sinclair, allowing them to cut inside onto their strong foot and curl to the far corner. Callum does this very well, however, I was truly thrilled to see him produce from the other side, moving outside onto his strong foot and offering a steady supply of chances. Granted his opposition wasn’t the strongest, but I think this was really good to see. Anyway, I also saw his parents at an airport being interviewed after he was a member of the squad that won the World Cup where they striked me as being coupled with Rubens parents, so I am not holding my breath on up coming contract negotiations. I like him. He has always behaved correctly infront of the Chelsea TV cameras, but as we have found with some others, there are those behind these young kids with their own agendas. We shall see, but I was thrilled to read the news on one of our other youngsters who flew the nest. Liverpool did exactly as I predicted and cashed in on Solanke at the earliest opportunity. All the bullshit they fed him and his family duped them into thinking they would get looked after far better than at the club who had looked after him since a much earlier age. Congratulations to Liverpool and thank you for the very best example to all young players to not listen that the grass would be greener elsewhere. Mr n Mrs Hudson-Odoi please watch n learn. The true biting spin to all this would be if Wilson of Bournemouth ends up at Stamford Bridge during this window. Morata’s Miss Haha. Looks like its good bye to Cesc. I have to say when he was at Arsenal he was my fav player in the EPL. He oozed so much class, opening up tight defences with awesome little straight line balls which often gave Arsenal that one golden chance to win a game. I could not believe the day it was announced Jose had signed him. With Costa also on his way, I opened up the Bookmakers account and emptied the balance onto us winning the league. The little Magician did not fail me and his first assist in a Chelsea shirt up at Burnley will be remembered for years to come. An absolute class act around Cobham who was a delight to listen too each time he spoke to the clubs TV channel. Loved by all Chelsea fans, you would never believe he was a Arsenal legend before pulling on our much better shirt. I wish him all the very best for the rest of his career and that the ill feeling the Arsenal fans have towards him helps his after career association become tighter with us than them. Look, I know I have been highlighting his Left foot all season, but even I could not believe the most recent example of Morata’s swinger. As the feller sitting infront of us said soon after, the boy should buy a lottery ticket because being offside has saved him from being destroyed for good. Lastly, Cudicini handerling of the after match presser reminded me of his sure hands between the sticks during his time as a player. Most impressive.
  19. Plan B Sitting watching Jose or Conte's teams over their times in control always filled me with confidence they would have something which would get us a result. I cant say the same for this bloke and even the most dumb of football fans are now picking up this point. Rotation. There are some who have already said his failier in rotating enough during the start of the season will come back to bite him. I happen to think him being forced to change the team about would be a good thing, but I also feel he has missed a trick with a player who was bang in form, Barkley, by not playing him when he was hot. Sarri is living up to his billing of being a one trick Pony. Forwards. Yes, we are dry. However fault does not lie with just the players playing in the forward positions, or as you point out the standard of player we used to have not being replaced. I believe a bigger problem is the coaches tactics. We must remember, I highlighted the future in preseason for some players and I gave a clear future for the two new players known to be the managers favs. All three have not disappointed my forcast. Fans. Its taken time and while we have our fair share of numpties, most Chelsea have a good level of understanding whats good after years of seeing winning football. His future...... Short Terminism. Oh yes, we have built up a wonderful reputation of not suffering fools. This guy is just that, I have not one ounce of doubt he is out of his depth, but the owner has this desire to be something else. As we have found out this past 24 hours, we have a manager who has no input into the "in n outs" of players. Ideal for Roman and a strong indication Sarri isnt seen to be on the same bargaining level as our previous two managers and if these players are not his players (American obviously isnt his) , we should have no trouble moving him on and allowing someone else to get the best out of them. Overall. For me, as I said from his announcement as manager, is the wrong appointment. I have picked apart his teams tactics and terrible pressers from the word go and as someone pointed out most plainly this week, "We are soppose to get better at playing his "named" way football, not worse". Now opposing managers have adapted to his teams, he is unable to or unwilling to do anything about it. I appreciate your words in the your last paragraph and I would like to ask you for a yes or no answer to something you listed. Are we on the right track?
  20. So, wasn’t that fun? I think we can all see clearly now that the manager is out of his depth, his team left the field to boo’s from the faithful, from all sides of the ground. A universal send off? I’d say intelligent Chelsea fans have had enough of this feller. Anyway I want to share a line taken from a fixture at the after match presso’s. A Chelsea jurno who, like me, feels there are more questions than answers produced so far by our so knowledgeable manager. “Sarriball is truly football as designed by a corporate risk manager (Wasn’t that his job in Banking?). Never over-committing the number of men in an attack. Never attempting to lure the opposition into an error through leaving a gap. Just a constant, swirling morass of pointless passing possession.” Then there was this summing up of last nights game from another Chelsea fixture jurno.. "Sarriball goes Horriball. Blunt, ineffective, and pointlessly possession-laden. A soup of indirect slow passing. They're supposed to be getting better at playing this stuff, but the evidence simply doesn't show that. Boos end the evening." How could anyone disagree with those words? Anyway, rather than posting my 3 page post from elsewhere on last night, I will ask again, any Chelsea fan here, what evidence do you offer that the manager has learnt progressed or has the same strain of football intelligence that our previous two managers had in abundance Since the start of his time with us? I am not expecting answers LOL ------------------------------------------------------- Pulisic. Ever so smart player who I would describe if I was being spiteful as a typical Wenger signing. I think he will be more of a benefit off the field in the states for us, especially as our progress over there has slowed of late. We are becoming the squad of didi men.
  21. Dortmund confirm Pulisic is ours https://aktie.bvb.de/eng/IR-News/Ad-Hoc-News/Christian-Pulisic-moves-to-Chelsea-London-but-will-return-on-a-loan-back-to-Borussia-Dortmund-until-the-end-of-the-season-2018-2019
  22. @carefreeluke Yeah I think the Chelsea fan opinion at this little board, other than mine is one of wait n hope the manager gets it, where's I have him sussed n bottled as a nothing. By all means I respect fellow Chelsea fans having their own opinion and I choose carefully who I allow to cross my eyes. My side is growing by the week as he continues to stumble without change after being sussed by other managers. What I would be interested in, by yourself or any other Chelsea fan here, what evidence do you offer that the manager has learnt progressed or has the same strain of football intelligence that our previous two managers had in abundance Since the start of his time with us?
  23. Watched the game via TV. On the face of it we must be happy with the 3 points as this fixture has been troublesome for us in the past. My main impression of the game is to be thankful Roy decided to sit back and allow us to have the ball, something the coaches of previous Dec fixtures havent allowed. In being thankful, even with the relaxing time on the ball, we failed to create anything that troubled Palace, so I guess it could be said Roy was right, or as I think, it dont matter how teams set up against us, we are carrying too many passengers which is the main reason we are unable to kill anyone off, something the manager highlights each time we win by one goal. Giroud very unlucky to be called offside twice, finished off wonderfully well both times. Willian played very well, a real live wire. Hazard found it difficult against such a packed defence. Alonso well below his below average normal level. I am told Jorginho was on the pitch and even thou he had all the time in the world on the ball, he was FUCKING USELESS distributing the ball. So much so, we resulted to Luiz being the player to distribute from the back, which included the assist for the winning goal. The goalscorer is someone I think we should talk about. I am fairly certain, coming into the new year, the present manager does not rate Kante as a player and would prefer to have him move on elsewhere. I think we have all figured out the managers fav player, a PASSENGER, isnt going to be moved from the central roll of Sarri-ball (whatever that fucking is). So we have the very best holding midfielder in the world playing out of position. Signs a new contract only for the manager to bad mouth him and yesterday when being interviewed and asked how well Kante had done with run n finish, it was like Sarri was have a tooth pulled from him as he stumbled through praising him and even spun it by saying Barkley needs to learn some runs like that too. Flabbergasted, The two useless lumps he has chosen all fucking season BOTH would get nose bleeds if they were seen that far up the pitch. They do nothing to contribute to attacking play n goals and its left to Kante to do EVERYTHING else and that fucking asshole cant praise his effort? One or two here have said its his 2nd language and that may contribute to his poor interviews n pressers after games. I guess that could have a little weight too it, but I think the vast majority of intelligent Chelsea fans are seeing through him. You can be sure the regular Chelsea jurno’s have when you read their coverage of his pressers against how his teams perform and if we are to believe whats coming from the squad as a hole, he is being questioned more than at anytime during his time here. I fully accept as Blue&Wine Bazilfoolty & WalterDavis say on the whole he is working with a squad mainly built by the two previous managers. Some truth to that, but the two players we know for sure are down to him are the two letting the team down and squad players Luiz n Pedro have had more outings under Sarri than the previous two managers.Anyway, to say he hasn’t got his own players is a poor excuse and underlines what a one trick pony he is as a coach. I agree with ChelseaTotty StamfordSid UpperDeck47 SocratesBrother 7OaksCFC & BillyNoMatesCFC, of the 6 top clubs, Sarri has been the luckiest so far this season and other than the removed Jose, his team is regressing instead of progressing. There is no doubt in this fact, which is a real shame and I think it has most to do with the manager being sussed (Except by yesterdays Roy) and him not being a good enough coach to have a plan B. Haha, but there are those who say its not his squad! Reuben Loftus-Cheek injured AGAIN! CHO being sold! Fabregas injured looking the wrong way! Willian calf strain! Christensen said to have told club his desire to leave! & Emerson looking as bad in midfield as he is at left back! Dont worry, Jorginho is still available! Happy New Year You Lucky People!
  24. In the off chance this video is a piss take of Jorginho (I am unable to view) Please take this following comment with a pitch of salt if it is just that, a piss take. You feel the player in question is worthy of this highlighting of his play?
