Carnivore Chris
This is far better football by Barça. One and two touch attacking football at a quick tempo and de Jong, Semedo and Ansu Fati are thriving. Ansu with 2 goals, both assisted by Messi, but it could and should be more. Messi could have had a couple, as could Griezmann. That pass by Messi for the first goal was ridiculous. It'd be good to see Arthur come on in the second half as he'd thrive in this set up. Also Riqui Puig. It would be a good opportunity to give him a run out.
Administrator Stan Posted February 2, 2020 Author Administrator Share Posted February 2, 2020 2 goals for Ansu Fati in 30th and 31st minute, both assisted by Messi. Getafe now in 3rd with a good win away at Bilbao coupled with Sevilla dropping points at home again!

I don't think it's any exaggeration to say that was probably Semedo's best game for Barça, looks like he's finally about to start realising his potential under Setién.
