Andros Townsend Joins Everton

Well Rafa loves his wingers that can defend so this signing isn't as absurd as it first looks.

I have a feeling he will be out his depth. Very bland signing for Everton. I wasn't bothered whether he stayed or left. Had a feeling he would go to a Fulham or a Newcastle which is about his level.

Great move for Townsend. 

I'd have imagined he would have been expecting a lower Premier league club but Everton is a really big club.

We've signed him on a two-year deal. Free transfer. I've always quite liked him, he's a solid player. After so much mismanagement over our extortionate transfers in seasons past, this is hopefully a step forward. Already miles better than most of the shite we've pulled in.

Pretty happy with this too to be honest. Not often we've made signings in recent years where it's pretty clear exactly what his role is going to be.
