Michael 1,117 Posted October 9, 2021 Share Posted October 9, 2021 Sweden have defeated Kosovo 3-0. Goals from Forsberg, Isak and Quaison has seen Sweden cruise past Kosovo. This win for the Swedes sees them get 12 points, only one point behind group leaders Spain and Sweden still have a game in hand over the Spaniards. Sweden 3-0 Kosovo In the other match in this group, an injury time penalty goal from Bakasetas saw Greece take the lead over Georgia. A further goal in injury time from Pelkas, saw Greece extend their lead to 2 nil away in Tbilisi. This was an important win for the Greeks, as bottom of the table Georgia have no chance of qualifying from this group now. While Greece's win helps them maintain 3rd place in the group as they move up to 9 points. Greece left it very late to score their goals against the Georgians, but in the end they will be delighted that they got the job done.
