Michael 1,117 Posted October 9, 2021 Share Posted October 9, 2021 There was a bit of a surprise earlier on today as Lithuania notched their first points of the group with a 3-1 win over Bulgaria. Lithuania had lost all 5 of their previous group matches. However, in Vilnius, midfielder Lasickas gave Lithuania an early lead, only for Despodov to equalise in the 64th minute to level the scores at 1-1. But experienced forward Fedor Cernych scored two quick-fire goals in the 82nd minute and another in the 84th minute to give Lithuania a sensational win.
