He has also played really well this season, starting many matches and all at his age of 41. Incredible that he has played so well and can still compete very well at the highest level. It's not as if he plays as a centre forward or anything either, instead, he has played in a really demanding creative role in midfield. I remember when Joaquin was first touted as Spain's wonderkid at the 2002 World Cup. He went on to also play at the 2004 Euros and the 2006 World Cup as well. It would be nice to see him go into management and become a young manager at Betis. He's done great with 14 years as a regular for the Real Betis 1st team. He didn't do too bad either, with stints at Valencia, Malaga and Fiorentina.
