Their highest ever buy is currently £38m Emi Buendia. He has also attracted interest from Arsenal, Newcastle and Manchester United. Villa finished seventh last season to qualify for the Europa League and have so far strengthened their squad by adding former Leicester midfielder Youri Tielemans on a free transfer.
