Michael 1,117 Posted August 4, 2023 Share Posted August 4, 2023 Norwich City man closing in on loan exit, Canaries could include option to buy - The72 It is reported that Fortuna Dusseldorf are close to signing Norwich City's 21 year old Greek winger Christos Tzolis on loan, with an option to buy him at the end of this season. Norwich City paid PAOK £10 million for Tzolis two years ago, when he was only 19 years of age. Tzolis played 14 Premier League matches for Norwich City during the 2021/22 season At the start of last season, Tzolis was loaned out to top Dutch side Twente, where he scored 3 goals in 15 appearances. But Norwich City called him back early from his loan spell at Twente, and he returned to play for Norwich City at the end of January 2023. Tzolis already has 13 caps for the Greece national team and he has scored 1 international goal for them as well. Tzolis was one of the best players in the Greek league when he played for PAOK as a teenager, so I think that if Dusseldorf can get this deal over the line, they will have signed themselves a very promising player. He also has a lot of experience already, for such a young player.
