I am absolutely livid with this deal,  the amount of work needed to win his signature last summer to flog him to clear PSR issues to a team that is famous for nurturing talent.   Brighton have got the better deal out of this.

It is believed our PSR shortfall was around 25m so this deal mitigates any risk of needing to Sell Gordon or Isak to rivals looking to low ball.

Deal was officially announced by Brighton for 33m,  he signs until 2029.

Whiffs of one of those moody deals the Premier League want shot of. £30m on a lad that was made up for accounting purposes is a massive grift.

The difference is that he had a great season for Feyenoord and was perused by 7 clubs,  Lyon and Monaco were prepared to pay 35m for him however he rejected a move to France.
