Dave Posted January 30, 2018 Posted January 30, 2018 Crystal Palace have had a £8million offer for Preston striker Jordan Hugill accepted, according to The Sun. The 25-year-old has scored 10 goals for the Sky Bet Championship side this season and is out of contract at the end of the season.
Lucas Posted January 30, 2018 Posted January 30, 2018 We like him. We have been linked heavily but under no circumstances will we pay £8m for him. Whether that is naive on our part I don't know and Palace could well be buying another Connor Wickham here but it's a fair gamble. His work rate is very good. But I have my doubts he's ready for PL football yet.
Smiley Culture Posted January 30, 2018 Posted January 30, 2018 I can’t work out whether £8m is a bargain or whether it’s far too much for someone who’ll be available for free in six months. I suppose Hugill’s contribution will ultimately dictate that.
