What a come down from where he originally was at Valencia. This guy is becoming a journeyman.

He definitely showed flashes but lacked consistency. Through injuries he was given good runs at times but never showed enough to nail down a spot. It was clear last season when Rafinha was prefered as a backup when Alaba was injured that Bernats time was probably up here.

He never ended up developing which is why I made thay remark. His move came way too early the same as what nearly occurred to another Valencia full-back in the shape of Gayá to Real Madrid. Luckily for him though, he refused the move.

This is happening to young players leaving their home club too early all over Europe.

Unfortunately your'e right, Im sure money is a big part of the why. The other thing is why did he choose to go to PSG Im not sure his situation changes much and on top of that Ive read PSG is still interested in Filipe Luis.
