Another game without a win.

Not really the sort of game where we should have lost, Neal Maupay missed a sitter in the first half that would have been the end product of a great move.

Our problem seems to be if Maupay doesn't score then we're going to struggle to score.

We're going to be inconsistent this season and this is us being inconsistent, the only saving grace is that we've not won a game in about 5 or 6 now and we're only 3 points off the play offs. Has to be impossible to keep putting in these performances and not get the results to show so I'm confident we'll find ourselves climbing the table soon enough.

Big win for us yesterday made all the more sweeter by doing it in front of such a big and confident (prematch anyway!) away attendance! Even their social media team took the piss out of us prematch...well, that result is karma.

First half we dominated and Armstrong ripped their defence apart. They even had to swap their full backs to cope with him but it didn't really work even when they doubled up on him he got past! Leeds got bodies in the way of his numerous shots on goal once he had gone past him man into the box. It was noticeable that we'd been working on corners and set pieces as we split their defence and tallest defenders to allow the likes of Graham to ghost in. Really clever tactics and planning by the coaching staff!

Second half Leeds naturally got better and had lots of possession but did very little with it. Raya made a couple of good saves but we never really felt under pressure. I was very disappointed in Roofe and Roberts who had very little influence on the game in their attack. Saiz seemed to be their brightest player and got between our midfield and defence but then lacked that final ball.

For once we didn't rely on Dack. They had planned to mark him out of the game but then forgot about Armstrong! Reed, Smallwood and Evans were outstanding in midfield and our defence very solid. An all round excellent performance, our team spirit under Mowbray is superb and the fans are just pleased we have a team to be proud of again and who compete at a decent level.

Poor showing against a weak Rotherham side, but still get a point. Even with a missed penalty (cracking save to be fair). I've said it so often this season, but the difference in attitude compared to last year is staggering - we're never truly out of a game.

That said, Parky needs to stop pissing about with defensive tosh until we go one down. We play wonderful stuff when we're losing... why not attack from the off?
