Eco
Penalty kick to Atlanta! Josef and Pity causing a lot of issues for Vancouver, and Pity is ran over in the box. Up next, Josef for a PK.

Eco
1-0 at Halftime. Atlanta are totaling dominating all facets of this game, yet it remains 1-0. Vancouver don't have any shots, and without that clumsy tackle from Vancouver in the box, Atlanta have yet to create an open play goal.
Eco
Save of the year there from Vancouver. Villalba had a breakaway that was blocked, follow up by Pity was also punched, and the direct header from Josef was caught by the keeper. Atlanta need to be careful, and that just got a lot of energy in the stadium, which they haven't had since early.

Eco
Justin Meram is coming off. Congrats to him on his first Atlanta United match. Gressel on and now we are 4x more dangerous.
Eco
ANOTHER point blank save from Vancouver's keeper. We are going to really be pissed if we drop any points here.
Eco
And that's it! Atlanta wins 1-0. It got a little rough at the end, but that's a massive 3 points considering the amount of talent we rested. And it's the first time in MLS history that a team has had 5 consecutive shutouts. Vamos Atlanta!

Nope - he has been with Atlanta 2 since joining us a few months ago, but with all the traveling, they decided to give him the nod to start. I'll be honest in saying that outside the deadly combo of Josef, Villalba, & Pity, Pogba might have been the best player last night.

Just seen a video of them doing it on Facebook and presumed it was some European style pre-game thing they had adopted. Either way, I’m a fan.
