  1. Back baby! Probably start off on a ridiculous points deduction but fuck it. Let the fun begin!
  2. 2-0! Good finish from Andersen. Did not expect this!
  3. QPR lead early on. Leicester up as it stands! Fully expect Leeds to get their arse in gear but they look a bit nervy so far.
  4. all kick-offs 15.00 (BST) unless stated Saturday 27th April, 2024 West Ham vs Liverpool, 12.30 (live on TNT) Fulham vs Crystal Palace Man Utd vs Burnley Newcastle vs Sheff Utd Wolves vs Luton Everton vs Brentford, 17.30 (live on Sky) Aston Villa vs Chelsea, 20.00 (live on Sky) Sunday 28th April, 2024 Bournemouth vs Brighton, 14.00 Tottenham vs Arsenal, 14.00 (live on Sky) Nottm Forest vs Man City, 16.30 (live on Sky) Thursday 2nd May, 2024 Chelsea vs Tottenham, 20.00 (live on Sky)
  5. Disgusting that we lose another player of his calibre on a free.
  6. The first of a few double-gameweeks led to scores being relatively high - only one player getting more than 20, but all players getting double-digits. The highest score came from @Storts who got 21 points, and it helped him go up 1 spot and close the gap to @Dan in 4th. He was also the only one to get 2 perfect scores. @Redcanuck was next on 17 points, and then the only other move came from @Lucas who overtook @CaaC (John).
  7. Raya White - Saliba - Gabriel - Udogie Rice Saka - Odegaard - Maddison Son - Havertz
  8. He's not really doing much at RB considering the dominance of the team. I wonder if Red Bull will look to replace him?
  9. Hamilton to Ferrari Perez to Mercedes Sainz to Red Bull
  10. Opting for this But did also consider this:
  11. Wolves & Brighton's drop in form has pretty much ended their hopes of European football next season. Wolves without a win in their last 6, Brighton their last 5. Villa capitalised on gaining more points while Tottenham didn't play, but the North London club have a chance to catch up with an extra London derby in midweek vs Chelsea. Chelsea can do their own catching up in that game should any of the clubs directly above them drop points at the weekend. The top 3 change up again and Liverpool lose ground following their Merseyside Derby loss, whilst Man City and Arsenal picked up resounding wins in midweek. It could all change again this weekend, as there's a North London derby to pick through and a few sides facing opponents who have their own survival battles to contend with...
  12. The penultimate weekend is upon us. Mathematically, the remaining two spots can't be decided this weekend because Huddersfield & Birmingham face each other. Neither of those teams can confirm survival, but the teams directly above them can do a whole world of good in improving chances of survival, or even confirming it. Lots of permutations to consider! - Stoke and QPR would just need a point if Huddersfield win/draw, or a win if Birmingham win - Blackburn need to win and hope Birmingham don't win to ensure survival. A draw is likely to also be good enough if Huddersfield win, due to the superior goal difference - Plymouth have to win and hope Huddersfield win to confirm survival - Birmingham are relegated if they lose and Sheff Weds & Plymouth win & Blackburn draw/win - Huddersfield are relegated if they lose and Sheff Weds draw/win. If Huddersfield draw, they will be relegated if Plymouth draw/win & Sheff Weds win. Next Games: QPR vs Leeds Southampton vs Stoke Blackburn vs Coventry Millwall vs Plymouth Sheff Weds vs West Brom Huddersfield vs Birmingham
  13. And then a double deflection from a free kick. Talk about luck.
  14. Game 127 - 11th Game 128 - 30th
  15. GAME 127 - TOTTENHAM vs ARSENAL - SUNDAY 28th APRIL, 14.00 (BST) GAME 128 - REAL BETIS vs SEVILLA - SUNDAY 28th APRIL, 20.00 (BST) ***any predictions made after kick-off will not count*** @Mel81x @Lucas @6666 @Dr. Gonzo @Michael @Redcanuck @CaaC (John) @Devil-Dick Willie @JoshBRFC @Viva la FCB @Pyfish @Bluewolf @Tommy @Rucksackfranzose
  16. A midweek PL double resulted in only 1 winner, me! Game 125 had a 37th-minute solitary goal in the game. No winners here. Game 126's first goal was 10 minutes earlier, in the 27th minute: 1 point Table after Game 126: No change in the table but I'm now only one point behind @Lucas and @Bluewolf.
  17. Must admit I was one who was adamantly backing Nunez to come good by now but he just hasn't kicked on. It's 1-2 decent games and then 4-5 lacklustre & underwhelming ones. When you're chasing trophies on different fronts, you need more just as a minimum standard. Need that consistency. Similar to Jesus at Arsenal - injuries have hampered him but they've been fortunate to have Havertz hit form at the right time to contribute. There comes a time where you have to look at other options - perhaps not to sell Nunez but maybe there's too much reliance on him which is adding pressure which then affects his performance. Having different/better options to rotate with and perhaps his and Liverpool's season pans out differently. Jota being injured less maybe would have helped. Despite all of that, Liverpool could beat West Ham and it's not beyond the realms of possibility for Arsenal to lose and suddenly they're level at the top again. Obviously Man City have their games in hand, but it's interesting the difference in attitudes towards Arsenal and Liverpool in how one is totally out of the title race but one remains still in it, even though they could be level on points again after this weekend.
  18. all kick-offs BST Friday 26th April, 2024 Real Sociedad vs Real Madrid, 20.00 Saturday 27th April, 2024 Las Palmas vs Girona, 13.00 Almeria vs Getafe, 15.15 Alaves vs Celta Vigo, 17.30 Atletico Madrid vs Athletic Bilbao, 20.00 Sunday 28th April, 2024 Cadiz vs Mallorca, 13.00 Granada vs Osasuna, 15.15 Villarreal vs Rayo Vallecano, 17.30 Real Betis vs Sevilla, 20.00 Monday 22nd April, 2024 Barcelona vs Valencia, 20.00
  19. all kick-offs 14.30 (BST) unless stated Friday 26th April, 2024 Bochum vs Hoffenheim, 19.30 Saturday 27th April, 2024 Bayern Munich vs Eintracht Frankfurt RB Leipzig vs Borussia Dortmund Freiburg vs Wolfsburg Augsburg vs Werder Bremen Bayer Leverkusen vs Stuttgart, 17.30 Sunday 28th April, 2024 Borussia Monchengladbach vs Union Berlin Mainz vs Koln, 16.30 Darmstadt vs Heidenheim, 18.30 - Darmstadt will be relegated before they play if both Bochum & Mainz win, and Union Berlin at least draw. They will also be down if they lose, even if Union, Mainz and Bochum all lose too.
  20. Vital win for Everton in the Merseyside derby, whilst Sheff Utd are resigned further to relegation despite scoring twice at Man Utd. Everton host Brentford next and a win for either side (or a draw for Brentford) coupled with a Luton loss will mean that survival is ensured and they can now leave this subject matter well alone!
  21. Some more classic Championship mayhem ensues going into the final 2 rounds of the season. Leicester bagged 6 priceless points against far better opposition than their previous two games; whilst Leeds dragged themselves into 2nd place edging Middlesbrough in a 7-goal thriller. Both capitalised on Ipswich not playing. Southampton played themselves out of the title race although one could argue they never really got themselves back into it; and they still do have a shot at promotion, albeit extremely slim and verging on impossible. But it could all change once again this weekend! Leeds play first out of the top 3 on Friday vs QPR, and a loss for them means Leicester will be promoted before kicking another ball. A draw for Leeds means Leicester also just need a draw, whilst Ipswich have the benefit of a game in hand to try and wrestle back into the top 2 - albeit their opponents are also chasing play-offs. Southampton simply have to win their two remaining games, and hope there's a ridiculous swing in goal difference in the process. West Brom have somehow played themselves into still needing a point to secure a play-off place after only 1 win in 6. They will probably be fine given their goal-difference, though. Norwich just need a win and hope Hull and Coventry don't win 1 of their remaining games. Hull overcame Coventry in a very important play-off chasing game last night, but the latter still have an outside shot if they win all of their games however it is out of their hands given they need 2 of the sides above them to drop points too. Next Games QPR vs Leeds Blackburn vs Coventry Sheff Weds vs West Brom Norwich vs Swansea Southampton vs Stoke Hull vs Ipswich Preston vs Leicester
