  1. My first was the one with Jason MacAteer on the front. So addictive even back then. The version with the Chumbawumba song? or the version where you could play domestic fixtures and international games at the same time?
  2. Legend has it he paid off the linesman last week to increase his viewing figures.
  3. I don't think there's much in it between either player. In comparison over the last couple of seasons Cork would win on consistency whilst Livermore would win on 'flashes of quality'. I think Wilshire would have a right to feel aggrieved to lose out to both of them mind you but then again it may keep him more focused long term to prove a point.
  4. These friendlies aren't exactly pointless. There's not many fixtures left until next summer's tournament and given how uninspiring and disjointed we've looked as a team youd think these players would appreciate every opportunity to play with each other. Even more so given we are going up against two very good footballing nations and one of them being from South America who take friendlies more seriously than European countries.
  5. So you would have Dale Stephens ahead of both of them too?
  6. Fingers crossed they make a heroic return in time for the fixture against Arsenal.
  7. Whilst I was happy with the original team selection I'm not sure why Cork and Livermore have been called ahead of Wilshire and Ox. Southgate wouldnt lose any face by picking Wilshire and having a future private chat with him about future game time.
  8. Just setting up my Christmas list. Has the transfer window improved on this game? The fact youd play Man United in five years time and they still had the same starting lienup used to really annoy me.
  9. His hip problem last time. It's a shame we've got such a small pool of talent so we can't get rid of players not concerned with playing.
  10. I'd like to know how many of these 'injuries' are going to be for two weeks. We're producing another generation of shy aways. When Raheem Sterling did it at the start of last season that should have been Southgates moment to make an example of someone. Now this horrible precedent has been set and we've seen the likes of Vardy and Alli follow suit.
  11. I've been very critical of Gareth Southgate thus far but I like the strong message he's sent out with this squad selection. The way Wenger has been hyping up Wilshire yet not playing him himself has been a bit reminiscent of the time when Wallcott got called up in 2006. If he's that great Wenger play him yourself. Also I like that he's given call ups to the likes of Abraham and Loftus Cheek. It sends a clear to the amount of talent being stacked at clubs like Chelsea, Arsenal, United etc that if you're able to play football regularly you have a much much better chance of playing for your country. Psychologically this puts a big onus on the likes of Wilshire to break in to that Arsenal first team, and gives an extra incentive for Abraham and Loftus-Cheek to improve.
  12. Given the effect a pacey Gray had on Leicester City I hope they consider Ademola Lookman a chance. A lack of first team opportunity now could really stifle his development.

    Walking Dead

I've enjoyed the first two episodes. It's just annoying that every series there's only about 3 or 4 fast paced episodes and the others you can skip without watching because a lot of nothing happens.

    Walking Dead

He was finally becoming a man in that episode and now Negan is going to end him.

It's worth watching the PPVs these days in all honesty. Shane had his hell in a cell moment recently and they built up Brawn to a level where he saved Summerslam. I wouldn't watch Raw regularly though.

How are you finding the product these days? Feels like to me they've pulled their finger out a bit, and if what Cody has said about his wage packet these days is true, it will hopefully start a movement where they'll have to balance politics with entertainment a little better to keep talent.

allwrestling.org is where I usually go. I would give you my network pass but as you don't live in the UK that sounds like an inevitable lifetime ban awaiting. Well worth watching tonight with Kurt and AJ showing up. God bless meningitis.
  19. At least your sponser doesn't sound like a site that's trying to sell kidnapped men.
  20. Pape Souare has been voted player of the month. Made sense to give it to someone who hasn't played a league game this season.

Sorry to hear that mate. My grandfather was somewhat of a father figure to me growing up so I understand what you're going through. Stay strong for your family.

    How does that even happen?
  23. Great news that. Hes got nothing left to prove for when you play us.
  24. His World Cup place for Chile would have been a guarantee. Infact a poor season for Arsenal but a great World Cup would still improve his stock. Without the World Cup as a fall back option id argue we would now see a more focused Alexis that will benefit Arsenal until his futures decided.
