Only the amortisation aspect of it is stopped. So West Ham have to spread the cost over 5 years as opposed to 7.

At the same time, they also look most threatening when Rodriguez, Aebischer and Vargas link up on the left.

Great news for Maidenhead. It sounds like they've had to reduce their sell on clause to get the deal over the line, and it will be paid in installments, but invested correctly this should be transformational for the club.

Great deal for Wolves. They could reinvest half that money in a left footed defender like Jacob Grieves and people will be having a debate over whose the better defender in two or so years time.

Great deal for the player. He gets to move closer to home, plays for a big club with big ambitions at a big stadium, and doesn't have to worry about his next move or finances until he hits retirement age.

The only people this deal doesn't feel great for is West Ham. Albeit they're probably not thinking about the fee and think this is a way of ensuring they hit their English quota in a position that's historically been difficult to recruit in for the foreseeable future regardless of where the club fluctuates in the English pyramid. If he makes over 200 appearances and he's fairly consistent, they're probably not going to be about this fee in 2031.

Maidenhead will feel like they've won the lottery with there 20% sell on clause.

Osprey vs swerve was a weird one. Perhaps they thought it would be to predictable to have him beat swerve at all in but sometimes the predictable thing to do is the best thing.

Seems like osprey will be facing mjf at all in who has turned heel again. I'm surprised they turned mjf heel again. I didn't like him as a face personally but a lot of people did so surprised they did that. 

Thank God MJF is a heel again. We need to imagine him crying at the press conference never happened.

There's way round the winner getting a title shot at All In, but Tony's shown with Wardlow, FTR and The Acclaimed that he's awful at altering plans he's had with his action figures for some time.

If this goes wrong I think it's fair to assume Bellingham/Foden will be compared to Lampard/Gerrard for the foreseeable future.

It was reported Peterborough wanted 15m two summers ago and wanted 10m in January. Barnet are due to get 50% of any transfer fee too. Its a great deal for Southampton but for a man of Darragh's voice 3m is egg on face stuff.
