@Devil-Dick Willie @Spike @The Palace Fan Have any of you been to any live shows this year? I know you have all been to shows before. I love wrestling live. Have any of you ever seen a wrestler in the independent scene that has got to a very high level.

There was this one guy at my last show who was 17 and has only wrestled a few matches but he looks so good. If nxt europe does finally happen he will be on it for sure

None this year. I'm going to try for John Cena's last UK appearance next year though.

  2. FPL have done it. After making everybody feel cheap last year to appeal to casual players, and then lose those casual players after they lose transfers. They've upped the amount of transfers you can save to try and retain players whilst making the selection process more difficult for those more engaged players.

Salah has the better fixtures, Haaland has had a summer to reboot. Salah is the best captain for gameweek 1 whilst Haaland is the best captain for gameweek 2. But putting them  both in the same team causes a lot of sacrifices elsewhere.

I think we will see a lot of differing strategies early on.

  3. Up until now, you've only been able to bank two free transfers. Well, if you want to be patient and plan ahead, you can now accumulate up to FIVE free transfers.

On top of that, when you play the Wildcard and Free Hit chips, your saved transfers will no longer reset to zero.

So you can now save five free transfers, then play any of your chips and immediately have five free transfers to use in the following Gameweek.

You've always been able to keep two free transfers when playing the Bench Boost and Triple Captain chips, so there's no real change there - except that you can now bank the extra three free transfers as well.

Upping the saved transfers amount is a massive change. There’s been plenty periods over the years where I’ve tinkered with my squad for fear of losing a transfer when in practice I could have just left it. Makes the wildcards a lot less significant also.

This Vance fella he's picked for his running mate seems like a charmer, calling the UK the first Islamist state with nuclear weapons now that Labour have won. Not dangerous or racist at all.

    Surely this can't be real?

  5. I can't say I'm surprised that Peter Bleksley is condemning the armchair detectives, despite igniting them with his comments during the Nicola Bulley investigation. I guess his opinion just changes with who improves his bank balance.

Best chance we've got of convincing Klopp to join is by telling him this: "English refs can't officiate your matches if you manage England."

But given he's said he wants to take a break because the pressure has been intense... I'm not sure there's a job in English football that comes with quite as much media scrutiny as the England manager.

It's worth a shot seeing if he'll take the job though.

He rejected the US job a few days ago according to ESPN I think.

To be fair, it's a piece of cake for two years, even Roy sleepwalked us to tournaments with less teams qualifying, then it's 100mph when the tournament starts.

Yes the Liverpool fans… and the statistics.

"Numbers lie and liars use numbers".

Without looking at the statistics I'd assume Trent is higher for tackles, ball recoveries etc and I'd also assume Manchester City have had more possession than Liverpool. For that reason I'd also assume Kyle Walker had conceded less errors leading to a shot or a goal.
