  1. Really? He's played well in Serie A but to say he's one of the top three in the world seems a bit excessive.
  2. Three major trophies in four years and a lowest finish of fifth in the league. It's not all bad once you take a step back.
  3. Thank God for that. Don't want that weasel of a man or his Welsh players that celebrated like they had won the World Cup when England lost to Iceland anywhere near our club.
  4. Wilfried Zaha has signed a new five year contract. Didn't see that coming. May mean the end for Townsend now.
  5. It's painful that it makes sense.
  6. After having to endure Goldberg as Champion, Roman Reigns win at WrestleMania, and now seeing what's happened at Backlash I think that's me done from wrestling for a while. They know they can take the piss out of there loyal fans by giving them the opposite of what they want and making a load of money overseas instead. The most annoying thing is I understand why they've done it. They've created a heel with real go away heat that's going to get massive reactions and whereever they go and make a load of money off it. But it's not something I want to see.
  7. There was always after the match, you know, during the celebration ceremony. Or even give him his own testimonial. Doing this during a competitive match is cringeworthy, its embarrassing, and its pisstake for the Sunderland fans who travelled all that way and spent all that money. I expect Bournemouth to have a chariot now when Eddie Howe leaves them.
  8. The whole 26 minute thing was a bit cringeworthy. I'd love to see what Roy Keane makes of it.
  9. Many people have said that he has a different persona in person than he does in front of the media. Still seems mad to think after last season he's unemployed.
  10. To be fair to Mourinho he got it spot on today. Really hope he utilises more young players next season.
  11. Agreed. Had Moyes been interviewed and said his transfer plans were to sign Leighton Baines and Mauroanne Fellaini the club could have saved themselves a lot of hassle.
  12. Id argue every club he has managed this decade have got worse by the time he left than when he took over.
  13. Brady was desperate to get out of Ashworth. That was his last 'battle' and he lost it. The sad thing is I think there may have been more children killed by him and Myra Hindley, and he doesn't remember where Keith Bennett was buried. Good riddance to one of the most sinister and evil people of our lifetime.
  14. Given the spending over the last twelve months he shouldn't be stunned.
  15. Given Steve is going and we could still lose Hennessey this does make sense as a back up choice. Guaranteed some sort of role when he retires too.
  16. Maybe it's just my interopretation but to say someone is a born winner as a manager puts them in an elite group like you would with anybody else that are born winners.
  17. Did he win anything at Napoli? I know he won The Europa League with Chelsea but other than that I'm struggling to think of major achievements since Liverpool. He was a fantastic Manager over a decade ago, but I wouldn't have him in an elite group any more. Plus Newcastle haven't been known historically to prioritise cup competitions. I hope he does win something. It's quite crazy to think given their support I can't think of the last major trophy they won. He's done a great job galvanising the fans, the board and the players as one.
  18. Jim White was saying on talksport that Sunderland value him at thirty million.
  19. Yes. Other than that brief spell when Sakho has played it has been a truly terrible season. I imagine Zaha will win it by some distance anyway.
  20. Well we'd be screwed without him. In terms of ability he's the best player i've ever seen play for Palace. Really looking forward to see what happens with him next season. I imagine the big contenders will be Wilfred Zaha, Jason Puncheon and Yohan Cabaye. Zaha will get it again because the fans love him but I think the other two have been more impressive. Puncheon has not only reinvented himself as a central midfielder through his hard work, professionalism and dedication (which are traits you would have never have associated with him until he joined us) at a time when he very easily could have just faded off after scoring for his boyhood club at Wembley. Whilst Cabaye has had an impact in almost every game he's played but will never really get his true recognition for us because of how much he gets paid in comparison to the other players bar Benteke.
  21. There was a general agreement when he was made Manager that his style of football would lead to him not being a long term succesor at Manchester United. Mourinho's teams sit far too deep for Old Trafford to be considered a ground where you'd fear the home team any more and over time the fans will turn on it.
  22. His contract wasn't close to expiring. Ferguson had plenty of time to convince him to stay at the biggest club in the world, become a United legend, be the face of the most globally recognised league in the world etc. United had just played in two champions league finals. Letting Ronaldo go to Real Madrid created a domino effect which had led to (now) three la liga teams being streets ahead of anything The Premier League has to offer.
  23. Manchester United and The Premier League have suffered greatly in terms of quality since Cristiano Ronaldo was allowed to join Real Madrid.
  24. They must be from her NXT days. Either that or they photoshop everything on the network as she looks in great shape now.
