Pizarro will recommend Tapia to Bayern.
I like Tapia but it does beg the question: is it nationalism? Tapia is fantastic but I think Ndidi is better and isn't at a club as powerful as Chelsea or City for example.
I would prefer Real Madrid or Atletico, but it's interesting nevertheless.

What did you study before?
Be ready for a lot of maths, programming and physics if you decide to do it. That's quite a niche field, so you'd likely need a Master's degree to land a job in the industry.
Sports Journalism and 3D Animation.
Sports Journalism I had some focus in, but 3D animation I dozed off completely. That's partially why I'm dubious, so I plan to work on my attention span in some way before applying to anything.
And yeah I'm aware, that's why I plan to study for it, because I definitely need a masters degree to get a job there.

Why Seismology?
Seismology was my only option regarding a science when I was told to pick a career back in high school. Since I was about 10 or 11 I've loved researching what causes earthquakes and tsunamis. I remember I spent hours looking at what happened in Japan back in 2011. I'm not too bothered at sciences but Seismology is one that definitely has interested me for a long time.

The PL should consider this really.
I think having the referee talk like in Rugby isn't family friendly enough, but having audios after the game would explain a lot. That said I don't think it would justify many decisions.
-
I am strongly considering going back to University to study Seismology. I wasn't keen on the idea for studying as most of the things I wanted to be I could work my way up, but Seismology is a science and requires studies.
The reason I'm having doubts is because I have a very low attention span and thats why I didn't complete college the last time.

I agree with this.
I still think referees should explain themselves after a match because I’m pretty confident if we got actual truthful answers from them they would be “lol I’m just shite”
But VAR’s basically removed all my confidence in the officials entirely.
CONMEBOL has actually released their VAR audios in qualifying, which helped explain some decisions, but some are still very questionable.
If anyone understands Spanish.

General musing to anyone who doesn't want VAR, if it does get scrapped I wouldn't want to see any moaning about an incorrect decision ever again. Goal given where the player was offside but not seen? No moaning. Clear penalty not given? No moaning. Blatant handball missed and no penalty? No moaning. Player handballs it in the lead up to a goal being scored? No moaning.
Can't have it both ways. If it makes football entertaining then of course, everyone wants to see our game as exciting as possible. It's like there needs to be a fine line or compromise to manage and I don't think the answer is to scrap it totally...
I'll be annoyed at a certain wrong decision without VAR, but to be fair it's better for the referee to make an honest mistake with his own eyes on the pitch than the referee watching the replay 4-5 times and still getting it wrong.

No I don't think they were. VAR should be better, the way it's implemented is beyond frustrating, it should be to correct clear errors not to spend minutes poring over multi coloured lines and slo-mo replays.
I'd still take it over the situation that we had before with goals not given when they were a yard over the line or players not flagged who were a yard offside.
VAR needs fixing not replacing.
I agree that it needs fixing, there is ways to make it work.
However, I don't necessarily trust the people in charge of the sport.

Used to be like clockwork that every second World Cup was in Europe. The gap from 2006-2018 was the most its gone without being in Europe.
The 2014 World Cup was decent enough for a European audience. Think there was only a couple of games with a really late kick off. But if the 2026 World Cup is going to be at prime time in the USA/Mexico/Canada, I can see them trying to win back the European broadcasters with a 2030 tournament with much friendlies times.
That's a very fair point, and again FIFA might live with the South American mentality that America is one continent.
1986 and 1994 was perhaps the exception to that, as 1986 was originally to be hosted in Colombia, and 1994 in the USA.

And replace it with what?
Things were hardly great before VAR was introduced.
They were better before it.
Sure there were more referee errors but there was soul in the game.
I think VAR is here to stay though sadly, so we'll just have to deal with it.

Thats a great picture of Boris btw.

I get the sentiment of any Uruguayan bid, but I really can't see FIFA going 16 years between 2018 and 2034 without a World Cup in Europe. And especially having two World Cup, back to back, out with a European timezone.
Would love to see a World Cup spread over the UK and Ireland, and with the expansion of the tournament, wouldn't be such a detriment to have a number of automatic qualifying countries.
Grouping them in separate areas, would probably look something like:
Aviva Stadium / Windsor Park
Hampden Park / Murrayfield
St James Park / Stadium of Light
Anfield / Old Trafford
Wembley / Tottenham Hotspur Stadium
Elland Road / Hillsborough
King Power Stadium / City Ground
Principality Stadium / Villa Park
St Mary's / Falmer Stadium
Carrow Road / Portman Road
I hope Uruguay/Argentina win but 2026 was a North American World Cup which by all means could be similar to having the tournament in South America.
I'm not sure if FIFA counts North America and South all as one, but it sure seems like it.
Before Brazil in 2014, it had been 20 years since they were in this part of the world.
I do hope we have a world cup in Uruguay/Argentina though, not just because I think they are good choices, but also because South American teams struggle in European World Cups.

Jefferson Farfan returns home!
I think at the right time, as his career abroad was likely over after no longer being super reliable thanks to injuries.

2 games today.

It was 80% Lows outrageously poor selection and tactics. And 15% Timo Werner. The other 5% is for Kimmich playing RB, passing the ball backwards 167 times a game.
You have one of the worlds best midfielders. You play him in defense. You play a wasteful midget at striker when you have one of the best goalscorers of the modern era at home. You play Toni Kroos no matter how poor he is that year. You're Joachim Low. And you deserve to have your balls electrocuted. I know. What I am saying is the insane squad quality of 2014 was not to be matched, so there was probably extra confidence from his side. They did win the Confederations Cup with a second team after all.

It was Pizarro who said it, and I believe it because he loves his country, he just hates our federation.
And Tapia has been linked to bigger clubs by the Spanish press.
