What is a lockdown in comparison to what we are experiencing in tier 4 at the moment? Is it simply closing the schools and that's it?

I think Boris is just trying to do what people want him to rather than what he needs to do. The constant mixed messages aren't fair though, a normal Christmas and millions vaccinated by Christmas were just two massive lives.

Yeah I get that, but when does it end? It'll be months and months before everyone who needs to vaccine has got it and now with this 'new strain' it could be even longer. Suicide rates are going through the roof, we aren't meant to live like this and the constant mixed messages from the Government are only making things worse.

I hate to say it but in their position I would be heavily considering doing the exact same thing. People are literally having their lives ruined by this whole thing, surely there's got to be a point when people just think enough's enough and crack on with their lives.

I can see them scrapping their original plan of the five days of relaxing the rules. I can sort of see both sides of the argument but I'm sure the vast majority would be happy to sacrifice Christmas if it meant all this ended a bit sooner.

My mate's girlfriend is a teacher and she'd heard a rumour that they were planning on closing schools for Christmas the day our lockdown ended, but for whatever reason that never happened. I agree with what you're saying 100%.

Yup. Apparently more test results are due and the training ground is due to re-open tomorrow so we should know more then.

Lost one of my older mates yesterday due to Covid. He had a few under-lying health conditions but it's such a shame that the vaccine was so close, you do think of the whole thing differently once it's got someone you know.

As I mentioned in another thread I've had to deal first hand with the trauma this can cause. I do think we're starting to get on top of it but were far too slow going into lockdown and now we can see why.

Well unfortunately had a family member die with the coronavirus - my great Auntie. Obviously a distant relative but doesn't change the fact it still hurts given everything she's been through with her health. Irritates the hell out of me seeing all the idiots walking about as if the restrictions mean nothing.

YouTube is a tough place to make money, out of all the YouTube accounts going I don't think it'll be huge percentage of them that actually make enough money not to work. That being said, if you get it right and are committed, it's a fairly straight forward money earner.
