  1. Haaland 1-0 Game stopped due to a lightning storm above the stadium ..hopefully will continue soon
  2. Yeah that was the first one, we play Munich at the weekend then you in the shield, we only been back a week ..some of the squad has not even come and some not fit to train yet like Dias, Laporte, Stones, Foden, Gundogan, Walker was limping towards the end of the friendly too so was De Bruyne, it was a high tempo game with lots of full on slide tackles, that was no friendly Greelish got cleaned out about 4 times Only fit senior CB we have right now is Ake, Phillips played CB in the 2nd half. I fear Liverpool could get a head start this season while we recover players and get back into the swing of things. As for the game Cole Palmer does not look out of place with the first team, Alvarez is rapid, looked very sharp he fit straight in too, Haaland didn't play, he's only trained for 2 days, looks like Peps wrapping him in cotton wool, hope to see him against Munich
  3. Club America 1-1 Ortaga was poor there ..De Bruyne 2-1 City nice through ball from Mahrez
  4. De Bruyne 1-0 curls one in from the edge of the D
  5. City TV+ for me ..probably be some dodgy steams about too
  6. We play Club America tonight 1.30am UK time, not expecting too much only being back a week but cant wait to see us back in action again, feels like ages since the last game
  7. In Haaland's first press conference today he confirms he intends to at very least see out his 5 year contract at City
  8. They want Bernardo Silva too but cant even pay there current players wages nevermind find £80+million
  9. Yep, it's laughable to question Pep, he's teams play the best football you will ever see, look at the job he's done with Foden too, cant wait to see how he improves Haaland who for me is already the best striker in the game
  10. Summer transfers so far OUT:- Steffen, Fernandinho, Sterling, Jesus IN :- Ortega, Phillips, Alvarez, Haaland The first 2 are an upgrade on the out going players, Alvarez while being one of the best players in south america is an unknown at top level like Nunez at Liverpool, Haaland is a massive upgrade on Jesus so our transfer window is going well. believe we will sign a LB too. probably Cucurella with Zinc maybe getting moved on. Barca are trying to get Silva but not likely on less they give us De Jong plus money As it stands Ederson Walker - Dias - Laporte - Cancelo De Bruyne - Rodrigo - Bernardo Alvarez - Haaland - Foden BENCH:- Ortega, Ake, Stones, Phillips, Gundogan, Mahrez, Greelish, Palmer, Delap 2nd 11 Ortega Cancelo - Stones - Ake - Zinc Palmer - Phillips - Gundogan Mahrez - Alvarez - Greelish Friendly games in the USA starts in July - fixtures V Club America 21st V Bayern Munich 24th Then Haaland can destroy Liverpool on the 30th in the shield game
  11. The kid looks a real talent, shame to lose him on a permanent deal
  12. This is surprising, it seems he does have a clause after all but people at City say its 350million ..but not needed because he can leave when he wants like Pep's just said about Bernardo Silva, he wants to keep him at City but he's free to Join Barcelona if he wants and they meet the asking price. I really don't see Haaland leaving his boyhood club anytime soon tbh, we are the club he loves and supports and Madrid can't afford him anyway
  13. It's more than likely that Jesus is going but you just never know what will happen, it's that time of year when the media goes crazy with speculation and if you believe what they type then Gundogan, Bernardo & Sterling are also going ..so far Jesus has been linked with Arsenal, Chelsea, Spurs and Real Madrid
  14. Possible number reveal? if Jesus goes then 9 will be available too
  15. For this competition to be taken seriously it has to be Champions only otherwise it's just a European FA Cup because currently it's not a Champions league is it?
  16. De Bruyne, arguably City’s star player, has now spoken about the arrival of the prolific Norwegian. He spoke of what Haaland would be able to add to City’s team and how it would also benefit De Bruyne at the Etihad. Speaking to Belgian media outlet HLN, De Bruyne said: " Erling Haaland is a top striker. His move should help us to grow as a team. Everybody expects a lot. They've always been looking for a number nine, but I think it'll be good to have that striker that maybe scores 20-25 goals a season." The playmaker continued: "Maybe (Haaland's arrival might help me too). There have been years that I have more assists (than this season). But my chance creation and other things have remained consistent. Numbers are a part of football but they never tell you the full story.
