  1. Mate, it's a scratch card of course there is a risk involved but there is still a chance there are big wins in there. I'm not for one second suggesting every roll has more than the value in them.
  2. Funny you say that, I'd been in Zouk bar and grill in Manchester City centre for a meal and I was full so I got them to box up my mixed grill. As we were leaving I seen a homeless guy begging in a doorway on Oxford Road and I couldn't not give him the food as I felt so guilty. Anyway we stopped in Revolution for a cocktail and I seen him walk past the window with the bag in hand, he walked up the road and put it in the bin There was no way he'd eaten it that fast, we laughed at the time but looking back it's sad really, majority of them just want money for drugs.
  3. I'm not going to do it lads, just thought it would be an interesting question. Surely a few hundred quid cards in the 240 roll though. I'd say you'd make back the £480 myself.
  4. A roll of National Lottery £2 scratch cards contains 240 in total. If I was to buy the full roll would I win more than my £480 outlay?
  5. You sure you wasn't watching the new series of Top Boy?

    Work/Jobs Thread

Me personally I'd have told her that wasn't acceptable and walked out. You only know yourself if you are good employee but if what you say is true then you sound like you cared enough. You deserve better clearly. That said I don't know your financial situation or how easy jobs are to come by in Australia. I certainly wouldn't be accepting that, so I'd look for a new job regardless.
  7. Very uncomfortable viewing that documentry. Only got through 30 minutes and had to turn it at the 16 year old blow job stuff. Some fucked up laws in the UK, 16 year old girls aren't allowed to buy cigarettes and alcohol but they are allowed to have sex legally. I know the majority of young girls will make their first steps into adult life around that age but I'd like to think they are making those silly mistakes with boys or girls who are also in a similar situation. No 30 year old sex addict should be controlling and dominating what is a young child in such a way. The other allegations would need to be proven, they are all horrific and if he's guilty he should rightly arrested and locked up.
  8. Thanks for asking, I'm not going to lie I've had a bad period. I decided to come online less as I need to get my head clear. To top it off my mum who suffers with COPD recently got Covid and ended up in hospital for a period. Thankfully she's on the mend now and she's home.
  9. Very similar except for one of them.
  10. Elizabeth Shue Remember my sister watching Cocktail when I was younger and I was drawn to her smile. But she's defo the girl next door kinda of fancying kind of crush.
  11. There were signs of this at Dortmund apparently. Surely we should have known and not bought him.
  12. I always felt Newcastle would struggle this season, its only early but I think top four is going to be a struggle. Champions league will stretch their squad further. I think there best hopes of Champions league may be dropping into the Europa and possibly winning that.
  13. Glazers would have had the helicopter on stand by from 6am this morning.
  14. Well put it this way, the word on the United forum I post on is that the majority of reds don't want you to sell him. Reality is that 200 million thrown together with whatever else money you've got at your disposal next window or next summer could help you get Mitomo or one of the other worlds top prospects. We seen what the Coutinho money did to you.
  15. He's 31 years of age. Everybody has a price and you could be getting double his value. Maybe not even double, maybe treble his value given his age. Even without Salah you'd stand a good chance of qualifying for the Champions league anyway so it seems ridiculous not to sell.
  16. Every player has his price, 200 million pounds. If Liverpool turn that down for a 31 year old then that's just stupid. So what you lessen your chance of the Champions league for one season. That money could buy you two players of his quality and put you back into domination. Alternatively you can keep him and watch him decline for the next few years.
  17. The press talk shit mate. They are putting two and two together because he was brought up in Wythenshawe. This kid is no issue at all, it's a totally fabricated story. Most of these lads are brought up in rough areas, Rooney was known to knock about with his mates after games in Liverpool. I've got no allegiance to this lad at all but it really annoys me hearing this shit because he wouldn't even have got to where he is now if he was trouble.
  18. Yeah, I get that and I've heard that rumour myself but it's not true at all.
  19. Worst window ever. Onana the only player that improves us, Hjoland we can't call, Mount totally not needed and Regulion a shite stop gap. Even if we sign Amerbat he isn't a huge upgrade on Fred or Mctominey anyway. What a weird window. ETH needs to justify these signings fast!!
  20. Mate what does where he grew up or how he dresses got to do with it. He's a local lad to me and I've mentioned on here before I know a few lads who know his family. Like most footballers they come from working class backgrounds. I have it on good authority there has been a bit of a disagreement about playing time so the decision was made to leave to gain it. Chelsea have offered him a wage he simply can't refuse at this stage of his career and he has had a good chat with Poch that encouraged the move. Trust me Foden comes from a rougher background, he's from local to me as well.
  21. Look, a fit Luke Shaw is a incredible footballer, he's technically fantastic but he's got a real issue. The lad comes back from every summer totally out of shape and fitness. This issue has been highlighted by two of our previous managers and ETH noticed it last season taking him out of the team for a period. I'd be inclined to link any muscle related injuries to poor fitness and pushing yourself beyond what your body is capable of. I remember listening to an ex pro explaining the dangers of muscle injuries playing unfit. People think you can play yourself into fitness but it's simply not good for the body to do that at such a level. It's an issue with Shaw the club should have sorted years ago as it's unprofessional.
  22. If you're a Spurs fan you are livid. No European football means plenty of rest periods between games. You can afford to go full strength in every match. A full strength Spurs side should march through this competition. Fair enough Fulham would have always been difficult but surely give yourself the best opportunity and hope for weaker opposition in the next round.
  23. Good player, think he will thrive at City. Fall, strong and good on the ball. Like a downgraded version of Bellingham but certainly a very good squad player. Must mean the end of Philips surely.
  24. He's such a confusing player, I'm really confused what people see in him. He's one of those players you can't pin point a position he excels in.
  25. Watched the clip about 20 times, against hwr will my arse. If she didn't want to kiss him or was disgusted by him she could have turned her cheek.
