Manchester history museum? Been in better but yeah suppose its okay.
  2. Realistically how much could you make from selling the whole first team squad in their current state. Well over 1 billion wouldn't it?
  3. If they are relegated surely they're are spend rules and salary caps they'd need to stay within. They'd surely have to sell their whole first team squad.

You've gone down in my estimation. You were in the Copthorne last week, you were literally round the corner. What you in this week the Hotel football?
  5. Andre Onana dropped from the Cameroon starting eleven as they progress to the next round thanks to a last minute winner. So he's turned up late for the tournament, had an absolute nightmare game and been dropped for their reserve keeper.
  6. Yes, he should be adjudged to have made a mistake with the Antony signing but someone above him should take responsibility for the transfer fee. Surely a club of the size of Manchester United should have nearly every player across Europe scouted and valued. Someone should have been saying to ETH, the maximum fee for this player is X amount. Whoever came up with 80 million pounds plus needs sacking. You can't just overpay by 60 million for a player and not be judged for it.
  7. Never heard of him to be fair. Hopefully he can sort the shitshow out and start shifting the jokers that have been destroying the club over the last ten plus years. Starting with whoever has been rubber stamping the transfers. Whoever sanctioned the signing of Antony needs sacking straight away.

Nice, bet it was cold round Salford Quays today. I love Almost Famous by the way. Its gluttony food but proper nice.
  12. Chelsea and United are as fucked as eachother, both clubs are fucking a mess behind the scenes. No manager of any level could deal with the number of signings thrown at him like Potter had to deal with last season. He was given so many similar players to deal with it was pathetic. He must have been sat in his office thinking not another attacking midfielder. Every player was also massively overpaid for as well. Mudryk is nowhere near his value and if we're honest neither is Enzo either, he's worth half that amount. Sadly though, even though they are a mess, I think I'd rather have to deal with the Chelsea squad than the one my club have. Poch should have started to improve things by now.

Depends what you like, Salford Quays has a few places but it tends be chain restaurants. It's not a million miles away though and is easily within walking distance. They have a new food hall that overlooks the Quays and Old Trafford stadium, its a little pricey for what you get but decent enough. You're also on top of the metrolink so a short ride on the metro and you have all sorts of places in town. If you have the car and don't mind driving Chorlton isn't far away either, I can advise the following places in Chorlton. https://thedropbarcafe.net/ https://brewskirestaurants.com/ Also Sale isn't a million miles away either and also only two stops on the Metrolink. They have an Italian called Borrello, midweek before 7pm they do a two course menu for £11, it's absolutely amazing value for money as they don't cut down the portion size for the offer. Also up the road is Stretford mall, it isn't that impressive for shops but I've heard it also has a decent food hall you can have a look at that serves the usual stuff like stone baked pizzas etc.. I'd defo give Borrello a look in though, we go often it's a really nice Italian if you like Italian food.
  14. Talk sport cleared that up earlier, Varane they are hoping to get him to take hugely reduced terms but Martial was a mistake on ETH part. The club have zero intention to offer him any sort of contract.
  15. Which players are you actually talking about the tweet link doesn't open for me. If it's AWB and Lindelof it's a triggered one year deal based on their current contract. Varane and Martial are out of contract and not having their one year option triggered, which would make total sense for us to sell in January.
  16. AWB and Lindelof will more than likely moved on in the summer, I suspect we will get low transfer fees for both players and we'd rather that than lose both for free. Martial is a special case really, they've messed up big time giving him a massive deal off the back of a good period when his contract was up for renewal last time. He knows himself it's the end of the road this time round, he no longer has the ability to lift his game to secure a new deal so has accepted he's going this window or in the summer. United want him gone in January, whether we get a Saudi team come in is the only way we will fully offset his wages, if he want's a European club I think we will pay a portion of his salary for the next 6 months. Either way he's going in January, they wouldn't have played without cover for Hojlund all Christmas if he wasn't. Varane is the same, he's on nearly half a million a week and we've been lucky to get half a seasons worth of games out of him each season. It would make zero sense to sign him back on a deal near that figure. Unless he takes hugely reduced terms I think he will be leaving on a free transfer as well. Ineos look like they are getting things in shape to be fair as I suspect Varane would have been extend otherwise.
  17. Not extending Varane's contract, sensible decision by the club. Paying a guy the best part of half a million a week and he missus so many games would be total madness.
  18. 2023! Go fuck yourself. My year in a nutshell summed up by even more devastating news today. My uncle, my dad's brother and one the best and most funny men I've ever met has been diagnosed with cancer of the stomach. He's having an operation to remove it on the 2nd January and they will know how badly its spread. Feel like I've aged about 10 years this year. I've been totally and mentally depressed.
  19. Replacing Gundogan with Nunes and Kovacic was always madness if you ask me but the fact Pep doesn't trust either one of them along with Kalvin Phillips is just crazy. A few lads in work have heard Kovacic is leaving to Galatasary in January which wouldn't surprise me at all. He can't keep picking defenders in midfield and expect results.
  20. I hate social media, created monsters and exposed idiots!
  21. Time to say goodbye for me, hes had a bit of luck recently fixture wise but the moment we play decent sides we dont look competitive. Newcastle aren't as good as we made them look tonight. How it was only 1-0, madness.
  22. What toxic sites? Social media or other forums?
  23. This has loan written all over it, the situation with our club is totally pathetic for a club of our size. I don't think he's a bad player but he's not a good finishers and he doesn't know if he's a striker or a wide man. We've got a few of them already.
  24. Dick slapping contests. What the fucking hell is a dick slapping contest?? ETH has fucked himself up, he's had money and spent it awfully. That said he shouldn't have been given total power to demand players he wanted, Director of football John Murtagh stands in a position where he should be advising on players and potential transfer fees. I'm not having a club of Manchester Uniteds size didn't know enough about Antony the summer we blew 90 million on him. His statistics alone in a weaker league should have at least seen his fee less than half that figure. Then there was Mason Mount. His fee was ridiculous for a player in the last year of his contract. Why wasn't ETH told no, why wasn't ETH told that he had three players already in that position with one being the club captain. Total waste of transfer funds yet again. Then there was the amazing story of how you can downgrade your midfielder when it would seem near impossible to downgrade him. Fred, it had been a long time coming he was sold this summer, constantly giving the ball away for season after season. The day he left I thought, like every United fan they have to replace him. What do they do, they buy a 27 year old Morrocan who's only notable achievement was five games at a World Cup. Ignoring the fact no other team had ever looked at him and he'd spent the majority of his career languishing around the Serie A midtable. Why has nobody within the club stopped these crazy decisions. ETH has only himself to blame in all honesty, you couldn't join and F1 race in a Vauxhall Astra, he's bought players from poor standard leagues and sides. They are simply out of their depth in the Premier League, they are the type of players Watfords crazy board would buy for 5 to 10 million quid in the hope they make a profit 2 years down the line. Honestly I'd take relegation if it meant clearing the whole lot and starting a total fresh with youth team players and a new set up behind the scenes and new ownership.
  25. Who the hell was in charge of the situation. The moment someone said stop the action we've made a mistake they should have stopped the game. The fall out from this is bigger than people saying they shouldn't be able to stop the game once the check is over. It almost felt like when an accident happens at work and few people claim it won't get noticed in the thin hope it doesn't. Clusterfuck
