She looked like a good choice on paper , but year, the trailer looks terrible. Not surprising after checking out the director's imdb page.

They were supposed to be the master strategists of the show, but got pushed back when they run out of book material, in favour of the more popular characters. I get that it's hard to outplay the "three eyed raven", but do you think that someone like Littlefinger wouldn't have known that the trial was for him instead of Arya? He has spies everywhere, and certainly someone in that room would have been one of them. He also would have noped the fuck out of there after Bran told him the "chaos is a ladder" line. Varys is very reduced now as well, and only acts as a background figure, if he's visible at all.

Throwback to the good old times when the two masters of the Game were not yet ruined by the writers! Brilliant scene!
