Clear dive from Saka
-
2-0 West Ham, some header that
-
I'm not sure how Saka avoids a yellow card for that foul when West Ham were about to counter
-
My initial reaction was that went out for West Ham's goal but none of the Arsenal players claimed it.
It's obviously really close and can't tell it's out from the angles they're showing.
Goal given

2023!
Go fuck yourself. My year in a nutshell summed up by even more devastating news today. My uncle, my dad's brother and one the best and most funny men I've ever met has been diagnosed with cancer of the stomach. He's having an operation to remove it on the 2nd January and they will know how badly its spread.
Feel like I've aged about 10 years this year. I've been totally and mentally depressed.
Sorry to hear that. Hope there's some good news on 2nd January and next year is better

Pickford's been shite here

Great equaliser from Foden.
The penalty for City’s 2nd was harsh in my opinion… it was more ball to hand??
Unfortunately the positioning of his arm probably means it's a penalty. Extremely close to it when he takes the shot though so not sure what else Onana could do

At no point have I said that Nunez wasn’t a good player. Obviously he is a good player and can cause the defence a headache. That doesn’t change the fact that he was a big investment for this club (not his fault, but we need more from him) and he needs to score way more than he has. Some of the chances he has missed are criminal.
No one has disagreed his finishing needs to be better? You said he's still playing like he's brand new to the team though and that clearly isn't the case.
-
Liverpool have failed to score once in all competitions this season. Not saying there aren't issues to iron out but I think things are fine for the stage we're at in the rebuild.
Also don't agree that Nunez is playing like he's completely new to the team. His all round games has improved on what we saw from him last season. His finishing needs work obviously.

You think it’s weird to say that we can’t keep giving absolute shite sides the belief that they can get a result from us? Luton did it, and Burnley gave us a headache right up until the 90th minute today. It’s not outrageous to expect us to be putting more goals in the net this season. Nunez, Diaz & Gakpo have been well below par so far. I’m glad we have Jota back because that man is consistent, and he will put away the chances that the others haven’t.
No but if there wasn't two bad refereeing decisions we'd have been cruising at 3-0. It doesn't matter as long as you win. One of Ferguson's best United sides won 1-0 about 10 times the season Benitez's Liverpool finished second to them.
With the number of new signings I'm more than happy with where we are and how we've got results this season

We have needed Jota the last the games, so it’s nice him coming in and having an instant impact. Another game where we made hard work of it, can’t keep doing this.
Game should have been over by half time. The disallowed goal in the first half was never a foul but they're never going to over turn it on VAR, missed a couple more chances too. Then the offside one in the second half Salah is pushed into an offside position by their defender. All in all though a good performance and win.
I don't get when people say 'we can't keep doing this'. Think people forget the year we won it and won 26 out of 27 or whatever it was, there was loads of close games (loads of 2-1s). It doesn't matter as long as you win.

Forest score a second as soon as I post. Great finish from Wood

Pushing an opponent over in the box isn't a penalty but an accidental handball is? Okay, sure.
Was barely a push was it? Accidental is extremely debatable given he was basically playing basketball

Don't know why you're so rattled. We should've had a penalty for Havertz being pushed over in the box late on. Bad penalty decisions evened out.
Main reason you didn't win was because TAA shit the bed with his finishing. Other than that, you really didn't trouble Raya that much. It was even.
The Havertz one was never a pen

We should have won with the Trent chance, but then again we should have had a penalty for that fucking handball. Absolutely fed up to the back teeth of these refs, useless bastards the lot of them.
A point is alright, I was a bit concerned that Arsenal were gonna hit us with a quick second but they soon reverted back to their usual ‘shit the bed’ attitude and we were the better team. If we lose the title to those jokers, we’ll have missed a trick.
They're a really good side, certainly not 'jokers'. Still not sure why a lot of pundits are insistent that Arsenal are challengers and Liverpool are not though. I think both sides are pretty equal in terms of strongest outfield players. There's obviously question marks over the Arsenal keeper. Liverpool still have Roberson and Jota to come back in as well in the new year.

Joemez scoring his first goal, I must see it.
It's coming, he's getting closer isn't he

Good game that I thought. Should have snatched it with that Trent chance

That is literally like a basketball dribble by Odegaard, taking the ball right away from Salah's feet.
That seems like a far more obvious penalty than the vast majority you see where the hand is static and the ball just hits it. Very confusing.
It's mad, imagine a Liverpool player had done that, I'm sure there would have been a lot more comments in here

That ball by Trent is incredible. Salah after he gets it, even better

Someone explain how that handball isn't a penalty

League cup, UEFA Cup, FA Cup, what was the other 2? ..i'll rephrase it, first team to win 5 major trophies in a 7mth period
You just said trophies, didn't specify what they had to be the other two were Super Cup and Charity Shield. I don't count the Charity Shield but I'm counting it for the purpose of this argument

I think he's a good player. Him and Martinelli clearly not scoring enough though
