  1. It was funny listening to Neville on the Overlap trying to justify why Coote should be able to referee in the PL again. Obviously they'd recorded before the confirmed drug use but his point was that calling Klopp a cunt wasn't a sackable offense. What he and a lot of people are either forgetting or choosing to ignore is that Coote has used Klopp's nationality as the insult and that would surely be a sackable offense in most normal workplaces.

  3. He was also VAR in the Merseyside derby in October 2020. Then mysteriously pulled as VAR for Liverpool v Leicester in November that year. Wasn't involved as VAR again until 2023 like Rick says and it was March 2024 before he reffed a Liverpool game again.
  4. The 'German cunt' comment alone will see him finished, that's before we even get onto the other views he expressed and the views of the other fella he was with.
  5. As you said, right now. we've been here before with City. We all know they're capable of winning about 15 in a row at some point. Our best hope is that we beat them at Anfield and open up a big enough gap, Liverpool keep winning and that makes them think it's all but over and the focus on the Champions League instead, which is what happened in 19/20.
  6. I agree. We have to beat them at Anfield in a few weeks for me to really start to believe.
  7. What? It's only November. Saying Liverpool should go on to win the league at this point is ridiculous. Let's see where we are after we've played them in a few weeks
  8. I think he should go back and book him if he's playing advantage shouldn't he?
  9. He was saying 'no foul' so I don't think he'd have given a foul if Nunez hadn't got on the end of it. He's just a poor referee
  10. Labelling people idiots or stupid for voting that way doesn't help at all. It's what happens when the alternative doesn't do anything to help those who need it most. I think Spike in a previous post covered the reasons better than I could. Those are the reasons why you end up with people like Trump in power and the likes of Farage/Reform winning seats in the UK and probably will gain more after 5 years of Starmer's Labour here in the UK
  11. Absolutely brilliant second half that. Thought we might edge with improvement in the second half but wasn't expecting us to run away with it like that.
  12. I don't watch their games but they're still clearly a good side based on that first half. Their results might not be as good as last season but they're still going to be a tough one to crack in this second half
  13. Difficult game for us tonight but a win would be a pretty big step to securing a top 8 finish.
  14. Feels like a big win that. Not great first half, I missed a lot of the second half, only caught the last 15 minutes or so but sounds like a big improvement where we had chances prior to the equaliser. A great day of results.
  15. I think Quansah was in his own head over the mistake. I've no issues with Slot making the change he did. It might seem harsh but it's Slot's job to do whatever to see the game out at the end of the day.
  16. He also gave the ball away again not long after the second. Slot has probably done him a favour bringing him off, he's clearly not in a good moment. If he'd made another mistake that led to a goal that would be worse for his confidence.
  17. Effectively a tax increase for the poorest 'working people' Starmer loves to talk so much about
  18. You could argue whichever foul Taylor blew for was soft but then Arsenal got multiple of them themselves throughout the game as well, some where there was much less contact than there was on either Szoboszlai or Konate.
  19. Their upcoming run is perfect for an unsustainable new manager bounce too.
  20. Van Nistelrooy will get a few good results, Rio Ferdinand will declare 'Man Utd are back' and they'll give it to Van Nistelrooy permanently before it all goes tits up a few months down the line.
  21. Which 'obvious' penalty was that? And the 'goal' where he'd already blew up so the two Liverpool centre backs stopped playing?
