  1. Their upcoming run is perfect for an unsustainable new manager bounce too.
  2. Van Nistelrooy will get a few good results, Rio Ferdinand will declare 'Man Utd are back' and they'll give it to Van Nistelrooy permanently before it all goes tits up a few months down the line.
  3. Which 'obvious' penalty was that? And the 'goal' where he'd already blew up so the two Liverpool centre backs stopped playing?
  4. I think Carragher goes the other way too often with Liverpool to not seem biased. Yeah I get that you can hear him celebrate goals sometimes but both of them, their analysis of Liverpool is way off at times. I didn't hear what Neville was saying today but it was embarrassing hearing him last week on the Chelsea game. Anyway decent point after that first half. Arsenal are not great to watch at all though, are they? The time wasting so often throughout a game. Like a version of Chelsea under Mourinho without the trophies to show for it. And I'm not sure they'll ever get over the line playing like that these days.
  5. Yeah he played well. I can't recall the error though, must have happened when I'd nipped the toilet haha.
  6. Stephen Warnock gets paid to give this sort of analysis “Along with the defeat by Nottingham Forest, that was the most disjointed Liverpool performance I have seen this season, but they got away with it. It will be interesting to see what Arne Slot says in his post-match interviews, because he is usually very honest about how well his team have played.”
  7. Thought we were really good. Could have been more comfortable but we'll take that
  8. It's not like they're the first team Real Madrid have done that to in this competition.
  9. Liverpool captain Virgil van Dijk has said he has opened talks with the club about signing a new deal. https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/articles/c70z0jl7kqro
  10. Referee was absolutely terrible, summed up by that foul he gave against Nunez at the end. Love hearing the desperation in Neville's voice for a Chelsea equaliser Good win, felt like we could have made it safer earlier and then we saw it out with relative ease I thought.
  11. Will Tuchel sing the national anthem? Forget that he's got a decent track record, that's surely the most important thing for an England manager...
  12. It's probably something that I'd have been arsed about say 15 years or so ago but lets be honest most clubs these days can only claim to be marginally 'better' than the RB structure.
  13. Honestly, I've no idea. Would like to think it gets sorted. I'd be gutted to lose any of the three at this stage but understand the other two are a bit different given the age they're at.
  14. There might not have been any mistakes worthy of a YouTube compilation but there were certainly goals last season that he let in that were extremely soft or ones you just know Alisson wouldn't have conceded. I'm not saying he's a bad number two but there's definitely plenty of Liverpool fans out there who don't think the difference between the two is big. It is. Or they go over the top and say Kelleher would be first choice for 15 other sides in the league or something silly. Liverpool do need better given Alisson's injury record and it makes sense why they went for another keeper this summer even though he won't arrive until next year.
  15. I don't rate Kelleher as highly as some Liverpool fans do. I think you can get away with it against sides you'd expect to end up in the bottom half of the league but this is really bad news with the games we've got coming up.
  16. Such bad timing with the run of fixtures we have coming up
  17. https://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2024/10/08/man-city-threaten-further-legal-action-premier-league/ Man City accused of trying to run Premier League themselves by rival clubs Clubs in disbelief after champions sent them letter dismissing league’s view on tribunal verdict and urging them to contact City directly
  18. https://www.premierleague.com/news/4144828 Both sides are claiming to have 'won' here aren't they?
  19. There's an argument that, post Ferguson, this is just Man Utd returning to normality. Their history isn't exactly littered with successful managerial appointments. Obviously the two big ones were hugely successful but outside of that it's a few managers who have won the odd cup.
