Do people still think Salah is going to go there in the summer with all these players wanting out already?

Yeah comparing two pundits to Fred and Rose West is a massive stretch even for him.
He's just a cunt.
Referring to world wars in response to a tweet by Union Berlin as well

Christ Joey Barton just gets worse and worse. I've only come across some of his recent tweets cos they were posted on another forum. Embarrassing some of the stuff he's coming out with

I bought this over Christmas, first one I've played since FM21.
Did my usual start off at the bottom, unemployed. Ended up in the Croatian Second League with Solin. Only made a couple of signings. The squad is a bit unbalanced and it took a while to get going but we're on a 5 match winning streak at the winter break. This league is nuts, Sibenik at the top have already lost 6 from 17. Second half of the season should be fun.

Don't see Liverpool signing anyone unless someone they're looking at for the summer becomes available this month, like they did with Diaz and Gakpo

Liverpool have apparently rejected bids for Owen Beck who has just returned from a loan at Dundee. Sounds like he'll be back up for Gomez until Robertson is ready to return.
-
Wanting the manager to start all four of the players we have who can play centre back doesn't seem like the best idea to me.

I'm sure I've seen your centre backs drop into a back 3 plenty this season? I know Gomez does get forward, or Tsmiskas or whoever, and it's not necessarily a traditional back three, but doesn't the left back a lot of the time drop in with the two centre backs?
It happens plenty depending on different phases of play.

Oh shit did he get hurt? I think he's just been pretty sloppy with the ball lately but honestly he probably has improved off the ball. MacAllister's gotten back to fitness at a good time for us. He's not a natural #6 but he's probably the closest we've got for the role until Endo's back from Japan. I'm looking forward to seeing more Endo & MacAllister together, so we can see MacAllister in a more box to box role.
Was feeling his hamstring as he came off. No word yet as to how serious it was

I don't think he's necessarily out of form though. Maybe not as eye catching as he was early in the season but he's still playing his part. Thought he was really good the other night. Physically he's brilliant.
Hopefully his injury isn't too bad and he can be back for the next league game.

The Diaz one is a clear penalty, not sure why there are questions being asked of that one. The Jota one isn't. It's bizarre that he didn't stay on his feet with an open net

The only reason is that he believes he’s put too much on the touch around the keeper, but it didn’t look like he did. Puzzling decision, and I was surprised it stood.
Ah well, fuck it. That Manc bastard has given so much against us and not given us so many things we should have had tonight.
Liverpool have been excellent tonight, no way should it have been as close at it was for so long.
-
Not sure why Jota's not staying on his feet there with an open goal

Brilliant move that

Just hope it doesn't turn into one of those nights. Had the chances to be two or three up

How is Taylor not going back and booking Joelinton there? Manc twat

Will Europe be a factor? Maybe Liverpool can rest players in Europe as it's not the CL. Unless they go all out for it.
We will be able to rotate to a degree in the Europa knock outs depending on who we draw in the last 16. Certainly more than we'd have been able to in a CL knock out tie

How good is De Bruyne going to be after such a bad injury at nearly 33? Yeah I'm proper clutching at straws here but I think it's a valid question also

If you're not winning it, you're going to be their closest challengers. There's something about them which isn't quite clicking - maybe it's the injuries or too many games. Hopefully you don't feel the effects of missing Salah for the next month or so. Need other players to step up collectively.
I don't disagree with any of that. Just don't think it's ours to lose. Long way to go yet. Get to March with it close and City at Anfield will be huge. We've normally had them away second when it's been close so hopefully that can be the difference

They have bottled the run in for three years running. Two failed attempts at a champions league qualification, followed by last year. They have a soft underbelly.
Yeah and they won't win the league with the doubts over the keepers and without someone to score 20+ a season

That was good from Fulham. Arsenal barely threatened when they had to chase the game. Liverpool's title to lose.
It really isn't. City would be 2 points behind if they win their game in hand, assuming we win ours tomorrow.

I think Arsenal are a good side but was always amazed that some of the top pundits had them as City's closest challengers.

Injury news from Klopp's press conference
Klopp confirmed Andy Robertson is still "not close to returning to training" and has a "long way to go" in his recovery from a shoulder injury. He added: "I think the full January he has to get closer and closer."
On Alexis Mac Allister, Klopp said: "We will see what he can do today if he can return to team training or not."
When asked about a possible return soon for Thiago, Klopp said: "At one point he will be in team training (in January). We have to be sensible. It's a medical decision. He is in a very good moment but we have to make sure we don't use him too early."

The likes of Benzema and Firmino want out of there too. Why would Salah, still at his peak and not slowing down any time soon, want to go and play there?
