I don't think they'd have done that with the penalty at only 2-0. Don't think Nunez should have been near either though, as much as I like him. Mac Allister should have been on it
Just seen that's the first one Nunez has ever missed, I'll take that back

I just hope Diogo is fine and there aren't any problems with the knock he got. I think we're going into the Arsenal game with a team that has gained quite a lot of confidence. Also, special shout to Konate who has really played super sweeper behind Bradley allowing him to play much higher up the pitch. I was really hoping they gave Joe a crack at the penalty just to get him on the score-sheet and I am hoping this is the year he gets his first goal because even he has improved massively in the last few weeks.

Is it a reflection of the gulf in English football between those that compete for trophies and those that don’t? Liverpool are amazing and win a lot of games but Klopp is still fourth in total honours. Thirteen less than Paisley!
Probably right. Different eras obviously and there's a number of differences.
Only 2 points for a win up until the early 80s as well when a draw in a lot of scenarios away from home for example would be seen as fine. Whereas what Klopp has been up against in Man City, you're having to win close to 30 games just to challenge them.

Yeah exactly. Chelsea are just a bunch of individuals thrown together as opposed to a team.
Won't hear the Liverpool fans criticise the ref tonight...
Great ref Tierney.

How decent is Bradley? Just a good spell or the real deal?
Obviously it's early days but he looks a proper player. We'd not seen much of him in the Liverpool team until this season but there was still talk of him being highly rated before that and he had an impressive loan spell at Bolton last season where he won their player of the year I believe.

Fucking hell, what a ball by Van Dijk and what a cross from Bradley

Brilliant half that.
What a finish from Bradley

I think he's just a name being thrown into the hat really. The club already know who their target is, and they are just waiting for that person to say yes. You don't get the news that went public two months in advance and just sit on it.
Yeah I agree that the club will already know who their target is.

Yeah I get all that. He just seems like the kind of appointment that Liverpool would have had to make pre-Klopp rather than the position of strength they'll be recruiting from now

Does anyone really think De Zerbi is under serious consideration? Brighton have won 3 Premier League games since the end of September...

"It's completely normal," said Klopp. "It's clear the outside world will not give you a second to process it.
"A week ago no-one knew about my situation. There was still 18 months on their contracts and no-one asked, so give us a break. No-one has to worry.
"Write what you want, the club is stable. Everything will be fine, I'm 100% sure. I would recommend to stay calm. Very often the fans' concerns are not as big as you might think. You underestimate the intelligence of our supporters."

Our last 5 in the league with Chelsea have ended in draws. Plus you've got the two finals in 2022 which went to penalties. Need to put an end to that and make sure we win this one tomorrow night

Not sure whether this is good or bad really. We need the extra body though.
I think he did ok, from what I've read, when he was at Bournemouth in the Championship. Didn't get much game time when he was up at Celtic first half of this season though

I think he's given a pretty standard response to a question. Important people don't go overboard based on what are going to be sensationalist headlines.

It won't stop Sky or TNT.
Yeah I agree. I'm sure give it a week or so it'll all die down until we approach the last few games

Don't get me wrong, Klopp deserves recognition and praise for the job he's done and I get the news is fresh news that people will still be digesting. Yesterday's ITV coverage may well be an exception as it was his first game since his announcement also.
However, I'll be blunt about it. Things are going to become proper nausiating if every live Liverpool game from now to the end revolves around a Klopp love in Like yesterday.
I sincerely hope the likes of Sky and TNT don't go overkill.
Klopp himself has said he doesn't want that. He's even told the fans he doesn't want them to sing about him, only the team.

Connor Bradley seems a really good player.
Yep. He's barely put a foot wrong since he got into the side. Nice that he given us another option at right back. Obviously a very different player stylistically to TAA, probably more of a right sided version of Robertson the way he plays.

I’ve said so many times I’m doing an analysis, not that I know who is on the list and who will be the next hired
its not my fault anymore that I have to defend myself when I never spoke out of line and get insulted anyways.
@Rick DM me and I’ll send you my resume, do that or stop being a cunt.
Glad we've cleared that up. So when you've said over and over that Gerrard is on the list, you could have just said you don't know

What a way to discredit someone who has worked at 4 clubs in 2 different countries. I’ll feed you what you want to hear: Gerrard isn’t coming, not even on an emergency list, and I’m a dumbfuck. Is that what you wanted to hear?
Personally I hope you never get work in this because I don’t want you to get the discredit all of us get in this industry.
Cunt. I was being as nice as possible to have a healthy debate.
I mean it's probably closer to the truth than you knowing the inner workings of Liverpool's process of finding Jurgen Klopp's replacement
