  1. I'm sure we'd have a run in the domestic cups if we got Man City's draws every season
  2. Yeah. It's the reason we go out fairly early each year. Always seem to draw a top half PL team in the third or fourth round. The only difference might be if we draw another top four side.
  3. None of them will play close to 60 games, even if Liverpool go all the way in the Champions League. They'll get the domestic cup games off
  4. Yes they miss two league games v Brentford and Crystal Palace. They wouldn't play in the FA Cup anyway
  5. I don't think the club will be panicked into signing someone because Mane and Salah will miss two league games. As always, if the right player is available then they'll get someone in
  6. So we can both acknowledge that he got injured after signing. What we don't know is how he adapted to what was expected of him at Liverpool. I've never seen the lad play (and I would doubt any of us have) and I'm not saying Williams is/was better but what Williams did have over Davies was that he'd spent the full season training and playing under Klopp. Maybe Klopp didn't think Davies was ready from what he'd saw of him in training? Also, there was no Premier League clubs in for him so that's a bit of a weird take. Williams obviously wasn't ready either but to take such a strong stance in favour of a player you've never seen play and know barely anything about is a bit bizarre. I think I'd trust the manager and his staff on this one.
  7. Twitter says the United Kingdom was "by far" the main origin of racist posts aimed at England players after the Euro 2020 final.
  8. No need to rush him back but hopefully this means he could be back for the Chelsea game
  9. First friendly I've seen. Thought Minamino and Tsimikas linked up well on the left at times. Thought Chamberlain looked sharp too
  10. I don't think you'll find many arguing now that it wasn't a mistake to go into last season with only 3 first team CBs, even though I had no issue with it at the time.
  11. I'm not going to pretend to know the ins and outs of Klopp at Dortmund but I'd say a pretty significant factor would have been constantly losing his best players. Difficult to sustain success if you're having to try and find replacements for them every summer. That's not happening at Liverpool. I also feel like people haven't watched much of Liverpool over the last 3 years or so if they think it's just intense pressing for 90 minutes like his early Liverpool side
  12. You asked which bits were disagreed with? I'm also yet to see any evidence of this 'Klopp burnout' bollocks that seems to be the latest catchphrase
  13. No issues with Chamberlain in the squad to be honest. In the two seasons he's stayed fit for the most part he's chipped in with goals. There's no doubt we could do with a couple more players under the age of 25 as we look to the future but it's not something I would consider urgent this summer. If Shaqiri and Origi end up going then you would expect that we'll bring someone in. I think Liverpool will surprise a few this season going by the way they're being spoken about on here.
  14. It's nonsense that there needs to be massive changes. One or two is all that is needed
  15. A team loses three players in the same position and they're not as good, who'd have thought it?
  16. 'One injury and their team is in disarray' is absolute bollocks. Liverpool were top of the league last year until they lost their third centre back to a season ending injury.
  17. I'm not sure the club will think they need to buy a midfielder to be honest if Elliott is going to stick around this season. And Thiago was Wijnaldum's replacement, we just got him in a year earlier than planned
