  1. Underwhelming, uninspiring, disappointing but if he keeps us up, it's job done.

Big challenge ahead with the financial restrictions and impending points deduction to battle against.

Leicester City have appointed former Nottingham Forest boss Steve Cooper as their new manager.

Cooper, 44, has been out of work since leaving Forest in December 2023.

The Foxes have been searching for a new manager since Enzo Maresca departed for Chelsea at the start of June.

Maresca joined Leicester at the start of last season, guiding the club to first place in the Championship and an immediate return to the Premier League after their relegation in 2022-23.

Will back him as there's not really much choice otherwise. My anger and frustration lies more at the door of our owners (again). Just not looking forward much to the season ahead given the off-field dramas that could have been avoided.

How both Wirtz and Havertz only scored 1 point each during Germany's 2-0 win over Hungary is beyond me. (

They didn't do much compared to others. No goals, no assists. Man of the match gets 3 extra points - presumably that was Gundogan?

Listening to talk sport in the car this morning and it all sounds rather erratic? Apparently Potter was offered the role, then he said he just needs a few days to think it over, and the Leicester hierarchy weren't happy with this, so they went back to Cooper and offered it to him?

Apparently Potter wanted a new sporting director, a job which seems untouchable for Jon Rudkin to leave from. And sounds like our board were getting bored. That, or what @Dan alludes to is that the Potter links were 'leaked' by the club at the same time news of ticket prices were announced...

Was in Sharm El Sheik start of May, 38 degrees it was a dream compared to the current weather in the UK.

Off to Kemar, Turkey in 6 weeks. Can't wait we're getting zero summer here in the UK.

Weather's getting much better here this weekend onwards.

Has been shit up to now though. Never had to wait til end of June to get a good summers day.

Sorry, still explain how you can say you'd expect a draw against Hungary and in the very same say a win versus Switzerland, whoo are a better team than Hungary would have been essential? It's more essential  to win against worse teams than it to win against better ones, isn't it?

I think the point was to have a win going into Sunday's game, not that it's based on level of opposition.

Having 3 points going into Sunday's game was better than 1 point. Less pressure with the chance of qualification, compared with having to win on Sunday and the pressure that comes with that.

Well against a good side like Switzerland it is and the fact their performance was much improved. One of the best games I've seen them play for a while.

Really?! They've played much better than that before.

I wouldn't call it great. Switzerland are alright but Scotland getting a draw isn't great.

No it's not. They needed the win tonight so they weren't in need of a win on Sunday.

They'd have been better being able to draw on Sunday. Instead they've now got to win.

Yeah a win would have been great and put them in a really good position. A draw doesn't really help. A win against Hungary isn't guaranteed.
