My fear is, despite this news about us being able to revoke Article 50, that Brexiteers will ask for a further 2-year transition period. And what we've seen in the last 2 years will end up continuing. Which isn't good for any one, whether you want to Leave or Remain. It just leaves us in further transition and limbo. Two years ago, no-one really knew what they were voting for. A blanket, broad Leave option didn't really give much detail as to what was going to happen. Two years on from then, people know what's happening and are (hopefully) more educated about matters these days. And more importantly they're more aware of who's leading us down shit creek without a paddle. So it begs the next question of now that we know where we are, where we stand and what could happen should we leave/remain, is it not best to ask the question again of Leave/Remain with people having more of an insight in to what they're voting for?!

Only managed to watch about an hour last night and saw one wicket (Sharma getting Head out). In that hour though you could tell it was going to be a long day for our bowlers and Australia did mightily well to carry it to only a 31-run defeat. That would have been a huge confidence hit if we lost from the position we were in.

Lead of 166 at the moment with 7 wickets in hand. Shame to lose Kohli late on. Would be mildly comfortable with a lead of around double that so it's important Pujara stays in and gets another good knock. I think he's an underrated batsman because he's not very extravagant or flamboyant with the way he bats, but he's ridiculously effective and calm at the crease.

So in addition to the sudden death of a family member last Saturday, there have been 2 further deaths in the wider family . One of my auntie's brothers-in-law yesterday. Another aunt's mother today. And to add to that, my sister-in-laws grandmother is in her last days too in India. What a shit time of year right now.
