You're a man of the people Stan and I sense the altruist in you. How long you been working there fella?
I used to experience people mistaking my kindness for weakness but even being in this job has built up a resilience to those that try and take advantage of it. I've become more confident as a result of being in this job too. I predominantly deal with the stereotypical housing benefit families (ugh!) and council/social housing estate demographics - you have to be tough to deal with them as they do not like being told what to do i.e. pay their rent and if they're in arrears they don't like being told that either haha.
I've been working in this role since November 2014. So glad I moved out of finance for this!

I literally have far too much to say in the first post in this thread that I'd just be fielding questions about my job title alone.
I work in IT, middle management level as a Scrum Master. You're either thinking "What the fuck?" or "What bullshit role is that" either way, google is your friend ... I'll save you the effort however https://www.mountaingoatsoftware.com/agile/scrum/roles/scrummaster
Who actually has a job they love? I like my job. I don't love it. Well. I love the money.
*waves*
I love it. I'm a Housing Officer for a large local housing association and recently become home-workers (bonus!). Finally found something I'm good at, have a passion for and feel like it challenges me in various ways. And recently been fairly successful at it.

never been on a 'lads' holiday but going on a stag do to Magaluf in May lol. Absolute carnage ensues.
Then going Mykonos in June with the missus. Should be a good summer.

ironically posting in here as I've not placed a bet on anything since September. It was ruining me financially as I was barely winning anything and totally lost any fun and enjoyment I had in betting. I was spending about £80 per month and winning a minimal amount out of it.
Having said that, and will use this as a reference point, I put a bet on SkyBet in June as one of their specials - every Newcastle league game to have at least one goal in it. Only a couple of quid on it at 25/1. So far so good!

Stan!
Does this mean you've left TFF?
lol that's gonna die out anyway.

haha apart from being one of the original members who clubbed together to start this!

I've recently started watching Black Mirror on Netflix and am a bit addicted to it.
Likewise with Broadchurch as new series is out. Suits, Celebs Go Dating, Steve Austin's Broken Skull Challenge & This Is Us also on the watchlist currently.

We have to keep the Australians happy somehow.

so happy that we have a professional footballer amongst us @True Blue
I don't like when footballers have nothing to do after their careers have finished. Nice to see David Villa didn't fall foul of this. Full time forum contributor.
