Today's games means that the regular season has now finished. Sydney absolutely smashed it and their first and only loss came in February I think. Brisbane Roar vs WS Wanderers Melbourne City vs Perth Glory Sydney FC & Melbourne Victory get a week off. The way these play-offs work, as @Tanksie alluded to earlier, is fucking weird... A Western Sydney win will generate just one outcome, and it is a tantalising one. As the lowest ranked winner they would play Sydney FC for a place in the grand final. Should Brisbane Roar prevail, they will be the highest ranked winner, so will face Melbourne Victory. If Western Sydney win, then either Melbourne City or Perth Glory will be the highest ranked winner and face Melbourne Victory. So we could have a Sydney derby and Melbourne derby in the semi-finals

a couple of Brisbane Roar's goals as well as the Marinkovic free-kick for Perth today were really good. Far from tap-ins! I agree about the standard though. It's not the best but far from the worst.

posted that 10 minutes ago and it's now 5-3 to Perth City brought it back to 4-3 and it seemed as though they would equalise. It's just attack vs defence now. You can't say this league doesn't provide entertainment. This morning's game finished 4-3 as well.

been watching Inside The Tube: Going Underground Find these kind of programmes fascinating. Didn't know the Northern Line is 70 ft below ground level. Bank of England vaults are actually under the Central Line at Bank station. So many times I've been on the tube without actually realising where I'm travelling or what I'm travelling under (or over in some cases). There's a programme on ITV later this week about 'The Knowledge'. All about the black cab taxi service in London for which you require 'the knowledge' of all streets and areas of London and what it takes to become a black cab driver.
