Was at Anfield for that Norwich game where Suarez scored all those beauties. Was one of the best experiences of my life. But I think in terms of how I felt from a goal, I have to pick the Origi goal against Barca. That goal was just amazing on a night none of us will ever forget.

Fair point. But...what are the chances of somebody scoring with their armpit? Next to zero.

I’d love the offside rule to be feet only, and also only clear and obvious. The Wolves disallowed goal against us was FAR from clear and obvious.

Die Hard - 10/10. Greatest action film in my opinion. Die Hard 2 - 8.5/10. This film gets a lot of stick but I love it. Has it’s problems but it’s still fantastic.

@Dr. Gonzo I was thinking that yesterday watching Henderson play CB. As much as I like Matip, he’s injury prone. And Lovren is too. Leaves Van Dijk and Gomez to rely on. Think we absolutely need to think about getting a CB in January.

Everton are doing well getting Ancelotti in. I know Arteta is a fan favourite but he’s completely unproven, and I can’t understand the clamour over him from Arsenal and Everton fans. Yeah he played for you but he’s done fuck all to warrant a top job.

Lallana, Ox, Origi, Shaq, Jones, Keita...all of those can and will play. They can manage two games in four days. Milner can deputise at LB, Gomez could do with the game time at the back. Plenty of chances for our big hitters to get a game or twos rest.

Forgot about the 3rd place play off. Still, I stand by my point that we are going to have heavy rotation. Clearly the case when we are sending the kids along too.

The first team has two games in 9 days. What the youngsters are doing doesn’t effect them. Also, we may not go through so I could be one game in 11 days for the first team. It’s far from an ideal situation, but it’s not a disaster.

People talk as if our next league game is in the hands of the kids. For fuck sake we don’t play again in the league until Boxing Day. The first team squad will play 2 games in the next week, and you can bet your arse the rotation against Monterrey will be substantial. The likes of Curtis Jones, and Van De Berg will get minutes while out there. The warm weather will be a blessing, a week away from the cold of Merseyside will do our players good and get them re energised for that match against Leicester. The only thing I don’t like is the fact that our youngsters will probably get slapped by Villa on Tuesday. Don’t like that for their development.

Yeah, it’s the club World Cup, I definitely want us to win it. Also fuck the Idiots In charge who didn’t help us out with our fixtures. Joke. Hopefully Villa rotate plenty themselves and it isn’t a proper hiding for our youngster.

Players like Origi and Ox play plenty of games and Minamino is currently at Salzburg...I’m sure it wouldn’t take much convincing.

So apparently Minamino has a release clause of just €7.25m. Get him in!!

Hereditary - 10/10 One of the best horrors of the last 25 years for me. A slow burner but man did it deliver all the way through. Because I loved it so much I rented Midsommar last night. I’d give that one an 8/10. A tad bit too long for me but it was still creepy, unsettling and fucking weird. Looking forward to Ari Aster’s next project!

Got round to watching The Lincoln Lawyer. Wanted to see if for a while, and I wasn’t let down. Really enjoyable film, with a great cast. Nothing terribly deep, but just a thoroughly entertaining couple hours. 8/10

Getting somebody by the neck in a threatening manner shouldn’t be just swept under the rug. It was, by the sounds of all reports, an unprovoked ‘attack’ and the clown should be punished public ally like he has. I agree with Southgate making an example of him.
