There is undoubtedly some cynical exploitation going on but the truth is far more banal and terrifying. I think it’s because the West thinks we’re owed a perfect life with no threat whatsoever, so Covid seems like a horror. The damage we’ve already done and are continuing to do by our crazy hysterical reactions won’t be truly felt for years but they will be calamitous.

The anti-vaxx mob are a small, stupid and irrelevant fringe. The idea that they are somehow to blame for the disease spreading is absolutely absurd. The people who want people to grass their fellow citizens for not wearing a mask or having a party are every bit a threat to our future as anti vaxxers.

Compulsory vaccination is nonsensical whilst the majority of the globe remains unvaccinated, including people far more likely to be seriously ill than the majority of the West. The conduct of the West has been utterly shameful, from the anti vaxxers to the lockdown lovers. It’s hard to find anyone reasonable anymore, people love being able to finger wag. It is only the Western nations that have lost their heads over this, probably because other countries face bigger issues on a daily basis. Let’s hope the latest reports are true and it’s even milder than delta. If true that should mean we’re coming to the end, rather than starting again.

Well we know how it would be treated if it were certain other clubs. Manchester United have the most racist arrests every season, players using racist language and fans racially abusing their own players. I don’t actually believe Manchester United are any better or worse than other but the way they are held up is a joke. Always get treated as if it’s a few bad eggs, all other clubs are condemned for the actions of a minority.

London is a great city. A shame it has become inaccessible for many because of money, something which is only getting worse but to walk around its great. Most importantly it has so many wonderful pubs.

You're attempt to blame pandemics on immigration. I mean at a base level, yes, if nobody ever moved around but this is so obvious as to be pointless in saying it, hence the motive is more nefarious.
