  1. Marca is claiming the same thing, it sounded like a done deal a while back so it isn't too surprising. Probably means the rumors to Vidal leaving in the summer are likely true As well. Exciting news but I'll wait until it's official.
  2. Top read from your Gabriel Jesus. https://www.theplayerstribune.com/gabriel-jesus-call-your-ma/
  3. This is all i wanted for christmas! say it is so!
  4. Reminder for those of you in the Kicker pool (or any) to make your transfers!
  5. Actually thats a great comparison, he yells at inept people alot too! That is very true, most things go downhill after 30 I know what you mean though, a little thing even like sleep makes such a big difference these days. I would rather sleep then go out and do fun things....im boring now The last few years the late night hockey games durring the week are killing me. We have a handful of 10:15 and the odd 10:45 start times durring the week, usually means im in bed by 1:00 and up at 6:00. Thankfully its only been 2 or 3 through the first half of this season, over the years a couple teams have come and folded just because they cant get enough guys out for these ones.
  6. Oh god yeah, the mixed drinks these days are just loaded with sugars. One of my guilty pleasures (i dont know if you get it elsewhere in the world) is Bar Rescue; basically the guy is an expert and goes around the US and fixes up failing bars, from interiors, to menues, to training staff to themes. Man some of the drinks even look sweet on TV for christs sake, adding all kinds of syrups. I think your on onto something though dont drink cheap and youre ok. I just cant do hangovers anymore, im usually out for a whole day now
  7. The drinking water or soaking up with greasy food is essential, a veteran knows these tricks I cant attest to the whiskey as i only drink shitty ones and in shot form! the quality does make a massive difference though even in beer as well as Draught vs bottles. My problem is my one hockey team consumes copious amounts so we dont drink for quality more quantity. I can feel a little haggered in the mornings as work sometimes.
  8. Not that im helping; but do you remember the days when you where invincible to hangovers! Definitely took that for granted...
  9. Goon 2: The Last of the Enforcers - 6/10 - The first Goon was a classic, up there with Slapshot for hockey lore movies. This had some good lines and laughs but it just couldnt live up to the original not unlike many sequels.
  10. Cheers, thats what i was hoping for. I missed out on black friday it was sold out everywhere, i checked online yesterday and it said the same. To be honest i have a handful of new games to get to now anyways but as a big fan of the series this was always on my mind. God Blood Money was so good. Pepperidge Farm's rememebers. Speaking of which what should i play next? I have on deck after just finishing the Uncharted series; Uncharted Lost Legacy, The Last of Us, Assassin's Creed Syndicate (im about 50% done, i had previously borrowed the game off a coworker but had to return it when he quit, so this was about a year ago) and Origins...which i wont play until im done syndicate. Im still leaning towards TLoU.
  11. Alright alright I'll put it this way, where you watching a reshowing of the old classic striptease and treating your body like an amusement park
  12. Interesting. So the real question is how many times did you pull it?
  13. Good stuff, either way i didnt feel like it was worth the price they're asking at the moment so i figured ill wait awhile before buying it, i got a few more games on deck at the moment anywho Has anyone played Hitman at all? i missed the boat picking it up for black friday but ill try again for boxing week. I was a big fan of the original series, the ps3 one was alright.
  14. Kingsley Coman has extended his contract until 2023. Heres to hoping Kimmich is next! https://www.bild.de/wa/ll/bild-de/unangemeldet-42925516.bild.html
  15. Cheers. I played Uncharted on the regular difficulty if that means anything; i didnt find it particularly hard for the most part Ive heard nothing but good things about TLoU from anyone ever so im stoked. Interesting, so not a big fan of it then? What where your issues if i may?
  16. Finished Uncharted 4: A Thief's End. Great series, 2 and 4 where probably my favourites in the series. Ill wait a bit before buying Lost Legacy until the price comes down but im excited to try that. Next up for me is The Last of Us.
  17. Woah woah woah, one step at a time. Once you watch the movie, they will flock to you with all the sensitivity and shit you will have gained.
  18. I know, i was skeptical hence i waited all this time but you wont regret it! Ill paint you this picture of my saturday night watching it; 10:00 we threw the movie on my girlfriend and her mom and I, girlfriend started falling asleep 30 40 mins in and went off to bed, her mom lasted about an hour in and im dead tired but i sat up until midnight watching by myself to find out what happens
  19. Love Actually - 9/10 Not my type of movie, i dont watch alot of rom coms or christmas movies and this was a mix of both. But it does so absolutely brilliantly, the stories are all relateable in different walks of life. The collection of actors was top notch and the performances. Great holiday movie.
  20. I do always love me some Javi. https://www.theplayerstribune.com/javi-martinez-bayern-munich-the-bandit/
  21. I've been watching Clarkson and crews new shoe The Grand Tour and catching up on season 1 i came accross this little gem of a clip below. Basically Clarkson doesnt like performance SUV's so he builds his own; taking a chasis from an old land cruiser and drops the body of like an 80's mercedes SL convertible. Hes so proud of his creation that he stops by your training ground to sell it to some of your players.
  22. Agreed; the soundtrack made it worth watching on its own tbh. I did quite like the raw fight scenes between her and the KGB there too. Is it a guilty pleasure? not sure if it qualifies but i definitely enjoyed it more then i thought i would.
  23. Atomic Blonde - 7/10 Your prototypical action flick. Albeit with a rocking half naked Charlize Theron in parts and an absolutely killer soundtrack.
  24. Get Out - 8/10 Good watch. I dont know if id define it as a proper horror but it had good suspense throughout and a pretty good twist you didnt see coming. And naturally shit hits the fan for the ending in an all out blood sport.
