  1. Get Out - 8/10 Good watch. I dont know if id define it as a proper horror but it had good suspense throughout and a pretty good twist you didnt see coming. And naturally shit hits the fan for the ending in an all out blood sport.
  2. I've been meaning to rewatch Jesse James actually that reminds me. That is the one shining light; the shows have been fairly good. Until the ending I thought it was fantastic but that whole end scene was like a train wreck to watch. I love me some Ben Foster and even what I think is still his best performance couldn't redeem it.
  3. Haha yeah it was thoroughly average, good collection of actors but that was about it. The original is just much better, i hope they dont try to remake TGTBTU as the westerns in recent times have been largely shit. (by recent i mean nearly 30 years....)
  4. @nudge Just finished Godless and i loved it. It is a bit slow going but the characters and story they build made for a great watch. Jeff Daniels stole the show.
  5. This was some amazing footage, i remember watching fresh out of highschool. Crazy sequence of events. I still have to finish Planet Earth 2 but it is some of the best youll find.
  6. Interesting thought, i never really put that together tbh but your right how many have worked out? seems pretty bad percentage wise.
  7. Oh my god i nearly died watching this.
  8. Clements reaction is priceless. All of this aside ive read Sanches had a real torrid time at Swansea thus far. I cant see this turning out too well and concidering hes like our 4th biggest transfer... no es bueno. https://streamable.com/tb8xd
  9. The paper unicorn was over the top, so good. I dont recall ever seeing any hint of Deckard being a replicant in the book, possible i missed it but i remember reading something that Ridley Scott said the answer was obvious...i mean theres way too many little things in the movie that point there but Phillip Dick still disagreed. Unfortunately you're probably right on the sequel front to but i didnt ever see the numbers on how it did on the asian market, that could be a deciding factor.
  10. Watched a couple over the weekend: Blade Runner (1982) - NA - i wont rate it too old. I rewatched it as i wanted to see the new one shortly. I also read the book (Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep) over my holidays and i thought the book was really good. In fact it was hard not to compare it to the movie while watching. Pretty much everything was better in the book except the ending. The ending in the movie almost redeemed it for me it. The book ending was fairly lackluster and anti climactic. The effects werent as big of a problem as i thought they would be to watch I can see how people would have been blown away at the time. If you like the story i recommend the book. Blade Runner 2049 - 7/10 It does pay tribute to the original and the book quite well. It isnt necessary to see the original but it has little nuggets that i quite liked throughout. The story wasnt anything particularly interesting and there where some definite short comings. Its not a master peice by any stretch but to any fan, its worth watching and definitely in theatres, the big picture and sound do it justice. And even worth watching in 3D; the effects where really cool and i rarely watch movies in 3D. Wind River - 8/10 Really well done movie. Not an overly complicated story mystery wise but it was thoroughly entertaining throughout. Had me at the edge of my seat at many points, I nearly forgot how good Jeremy Renner is. Props to Elizabeth Olson in this to she was excellent. I would recommend checking it out.
  11. Just watched the first episode im hooked so far so good. The cinematography as you say was really impressive I loved the bits with the horse whisperer gunslinger and the horses in the water at the end. I'm a Jeff Daniels fan to I think he's vastly underrated. The stories shaping up nicely. Cheers for the recommendation I'll keep watching
  12. I actually just watched this too on the Tsubs review a little bit ago i downloaded for the plane ride home. Echo my thoughts exactly. Hugh Jackman was immense and the standout for me. I dont know how i let this one slip through the cracks. excellent movie.
  13. Cheers, looks up my alley ill check it out.. I was actually just looking for something to watch as i just wrapped up House of Cards.
  14. Some random news of the day on your future player; apparently hes in trouble for using 2 forged drivers licenses and driving without a license. Apparently RB has players present their license monthly as well ever since the Reus debacle happend. Faces a hefty fine not sure what else. https://www.firstpost.com/sports/bundesliga-liverpool-bound-naby-keita-could-face-six-figure-penalty-for-submitting-forged-drivers-license-4193473.html https://www.espnfc.com/german-bundesliga/story/3259342/naby-keita-faces-six-figure-fine-in-fake-drivers-license-case-report
  15. I mean it was a terrifically entertaining match but alot of mistakes usually does that, They're definitely could have been more goals from both sides. I dont know why you would write everyone off after watching that though. For me if we get spanked by PSG in the return match then you could have some substance to your prediction, but even then things are miles better under the don then Carlo so i wont fret too much.
  16. How is it a mess? we played without a natural striker and some first teamers in a hostile environment and squeaked out a win. Call me a pessimist but id call that a win. Lewy should be fit for Dortmund if we lay an egg then you might have cause for concern.
  17. Well im off to Montego Bay, Jamaica for 7 days in a couple of weeks. My first time there if anyone has any feedback! My first vacation in nearly 3 years so im excited. https://www.tripadvisor.ca/Hotel_Review-g147311-d10714226-Reviews-Hotel_Riu_Reggae-Montego_Bay_Saint_James_Parish_Jamaica.html
  18. Not as bad as first thought hes set to miss three weeks. Unfortunate for him, should give James some match time is the bright side.
  19. I remember the good ol Wow days. Guild wars started over some random 60 something camping a level zone, we bring out our alts and friends, they bring theirs and soon enough its 20 on 20 in a level 60 zone with a ton of dead bodies....that game was a blast back in cataclysm and lich king.
  20. Kimmich could get there sure its possible but hes got a ways to go. Consistency and Defensively hes got some work to do. Hard not to be excited about him but Lahm was one of the top as Cicero says on short list with the likes of Zanetti, Cafu argueably a couple others.
  21. Only thing ill add is Rudy is quickly becoming one of my favourites to watch. The guy is a stud, the signing is looking better with every day.
  22. I liked her! but i will agree on Elton John, they definitely did it over the top but it worked.
  23. Interesting, you're not alone if i recall the ending was the biggest part of controversy online. Personally i found it quite fitting, It probably was my favourite new show until West World came around. Not sure if they're doing a second season but totally sold if they do.
  24. I assume your probably done, what did you think?
