No day off for this royal wedding then? The Queen might as well kill her off now.

Saw that in the week, I'm surprised he got off as lightly as he has tbh. I also noted he didn't play yesterday for 'Ricky against Harlow Town. -

Merthyr Town have hit financial crisis (not for the first time) and told their first team to leave. They sent a development squad side to Chesham United today…and lost 13-1 (THIRTEEN) -
I was thinking about Super League and the International game to see if I could think of a league system in the northern hemisphere that means players aren't playing too many games in a year and allows potential growth to the game at an International level and I've stolen an idea that Rugby Union has brought in in that Celtic League they have but I think it would work for Super League and International Rugby League. Here it is; Super League becomes a fourteen team competition split into two seven-team conferences. The conferences are equal and one isn't higher or lower than the other. There is no promotion or relegation between the two conferences. Each team plays the other teams in their conference twice (home and away) and each team from the opposing conference once, meaning sides play twenty-one league games before a play-off series between the top two sides from each conference, which ends in the traditional Grand Final at Old Trafford. Twenty-one league games means there are more "free" weekends in the calender which can feature the Challenge Cup fixtures but also the free weekends should see International weekends brought in to grow the game at the International stage further.

Was he? He's a fucking cabbage living off the fact he inherited a great Crewe side that had Ashley Westwood, Nick Powell and someone else who went on to a bigger club. -
Hope England get trounced by France tbh (though it won't happen). Wayne Bennett's squad selection for this game is based on picking players names out of a hat I think.

England are garbage under Wayne Bennett. Luke Gale has been Space Jam'd and has seemingly had all of his talent sucked out of him by a tiny blue monster. It's such a poor tournament this time around, as well. USA, Scotland and I'd say England have regressed from the 2013 tournament, crowds have been poor and scorelines have resembled cricket scores.

Au revoir Zizou. Well behind Barca, getting drummed off Spurs at Wembley and likely to qualify from the groups in 2nd, where they could meet City or PSG.

You've never watched Rugby Union or England play football then.

Northern Hemisphere sides are getting a battering down so far and I can't really see it changing. England should beat Lebanon but then they'll get PNG, though that's no walk in the park, even in Melbourne. The rest of the northern hemisphere countries won't win a game against Southern Hemisphere sides.

Yeah, that's my point, stabbings don't make national news anymore. They're not as big headlines anymore, they're reported in local papers a lot more these days.
-
It's quite common really, though most stabbings don't get reported in the national press anymore.
-
In fairness, it was a bottle but yeah, knife crime is massive over here.
-
Genuinely the scariest experience of my life when I witnessed my cousin get stabbed in the ear, it sounds stupid because like, it's only an ear, but there was that much blood I couldn't tell where the wound was and a couple of inches south and we'd have lost him. Weapons are for wankers.

FC United have binned Karl Marginson as their manager, he's been their only manager in their twelve year existence. -
That Australia World Cup jersey is superb. Also, a consortium have applied for a place in the third tier of UK RL with a side to be based in New York.

I've only seen one game live all season, the Arsenal v Köln game. I've watched a few Köln games online but not regular. I'm actually not missing Orient tbh, I thought I'd have been going semi-regular when I decided not to bother with a season ticket but I've just not been able to go and the times I have been, I just couldn't be bothered. I'm just picking games a couple of times a month now. September was busy but in October im off to Villa Park for the first time for the Villa v Fulham game and I might do QPR v Wolves at the back end of the month. -

Haven't watched an Orient game live or on the box all season so I have no proper clue of what's going on but by all accounts, Steve Davis is plumping for negative tactics and injuries have caused havoc in the back four. Given the fact Davis had three weeks to the season start when he arrived plus he walked into a club with a handful of players who were either 17-19 years-old and struggling from the previous season and a load of players signed by the DoF, without Davis' consent, the job was always going to be incredibly difficult and a struggle this season. -

Ever…from 2014 -
Is it out yet? Got the 2015 one, it was crap, if I'm honest. Managerial games will always be compared to Football Manager but it this wasn't even close to its early Championship Manager days. '18 does look very good mind.

I know BBC have been streaming a game every round. I'm not sure whether a game will be picked for BT because it's still the qualifiers but I imagine BBC will plump for South Shields v Hartlepool due to Hartlepool being a league club last year, Hartlepool lost to Blyth (I think) the other year, it's a local Derby and Julio Arca plays for South Shields. I've not been all season but by all accounts Orient are crap and can expect a defeat at Dagenham. -

The FA Cup Fourth Qualifying Draw was made at 1pm today. Arguably the tie of the round is South Shields vs Hartlepool United. I expect that one to be streamed on BBC. As for other ties, there's a few other local derbies out there. Dagenham v Orient, Boreham Wood v St Albans City and potentially East Thurrock United v Ebbsfleet United if ETU can beat Harlow Town in a replay on Tuesday. Glenn Tamplin's Billericay Town have Brackley Town away should they dispose of Hungerford Town in a replay and Sutton United, now minus Wayne Shaw, travel to Paulton Rovers.
