  1. The Non-League Thread will be sponsored by Francesco Becchetti in 2017/18. If Becchetti is still at the club, I won't be buying a season ticket, I and many others have already stopped spending any money at the club on matchdays, and others won't be buying a season ticket from what people have said. I'll attend a few away games next season and will try to follow the Orient Youth Team when they're at home. Otherwise, I'll probably pick and choose a few games of non-league football at various levels when I fancy watching a game.
  2. Yes, referee's could still make errors, video technology isn't completely definitive, at the end of the day, it's still a human decision after reviewing whatever incident. Rugby League won't rule on forward passes because with all the angles on offer to the video referee, each shot can be deceptive and the decision can take much longer to rule upon. I'm sure there would be certain things the video refs in Football couldn't rule upon. The rules haven't been changed in Rugby League to pander to the video referee system and any video ref system in Football wouldn't have any rules changed.
  3. I don't know about other sports but in Rugby League, the video referees cannot rule on forward passes so was the video ref in that match you mention allowed to rule on offsides?
  4. What's your definition of 'bigger' though?
  5. Ebbsfleet United to win to nil (vs Bishop's Stortford) 5/6 £5 returned £9.17 It ended 8-0 to Ebbsfleet.

Had an inner ear infection myself, absolutely horrible. My balance was all over the place for a week or so. Get well Dickie.
  7. Going to Rome in April with the girlfriend. It's her birthday present but somewhere I want to go as well so it's worked out well. Apart from that, I've got nothing else booked up but I'm planning another weekend abroad later in the year and a trip to Europe for Football in September/October. I also quite fancy Cologne again to see FC Köln but I'll see what happens with that.
  8. Swindon Town v Sheffield Unitee Blackpool v Stevenage Sutton United v Forest Green Rovers Over 1.5 Goals - £10 returns £21.
  9. Won £4.40 from a £2 stake betting in play yesterday that there would be a goal in the first half of the Morecambe v Yeovil game. Also won £13.82 from a £2 treble on Rugby League today. My day would have been topped off superbly if the 14/1 shot I had in the Rugby League would have hung on for two more minutes but instead they had a man sent-off and conceded on the final whistle to lose.
  10. I'd have Celtic and Rangers in the Premier League.
  11. Doncaster Rovers v Cheltenham Tow Luton Town v Stevenage Forfar Athletic v Edinburgh City Over 1.5 Goals - £5 returns £11.02
  12. Never looked too much into the A-League but I do know the MLS has been a goldmine for goals in the past. I also think Scotland is pretty good for goals as well, there always seems to some fairly high scoring games there.
  13. I just stick with Over 1.5 Goals betting these days. I've tried the silly accumulators that might come off once a season if I'm lucky and the smaller trebles or four folds that aren't much better but I find I'm quite successful with an Over 1.5 Goals treble that, more often than not, comes in in excess of Even money. This isn't going to make me a millionaire but I'm fairly consistently doubling my stake money on a Saturday, which I'm more than happy with. I could add games to my vet and go bigger than a treble but I think that's greedy and hardly worth the risk. I usually do my own research into O1.5 goals and actually find it quite rewarding when it works, which is nearly every week. I think I've not won once in the last eight trebles I've placed.
