I never thought i'd say this but of the three teams fighting for survival I hope Bournemouth stay up.

Watford have man city next. If Bournemouth win it will probably come down to the final game if the season

I personally like smaller teams coming up and having a go in the premier league. That's why I want villa to get relegated and want leeds to go next year.

Pundits complaining that var didnt overturn the penalty decision. But it would be very debatable to give it anyway let alone with the clear and obvious bar.

Yeah he seemed to run and loose his balance. Not a dive either though.

Penalty given this time though. Correct call for VAR to overturn in my opinion.

Ings misses!

Correct call but that must suck for Howe. Oh well.

Adams scores in injury time to seal the game for Southampton.

That's Bournemouth down.

For years Bournemouth have paid premium prices for woeful players (Afobe, Ibe, Solanke, Brad Smith!) at the start of the window which just inflated the average market for everybody else.

Cant say I'll miss that but I wouldnt want to see them relive what Portsmouth have over the last ten years. Which given their wage turnover looks very likely.

When you named Smith alongside the others, I thought he was around £15m - £20m. Looked it up and according to Sky Sports, he went for £3m and rising to £6m.

Ah well, he's at a better club anyway. :whistling:

Still far, far too much money. Especially at the time. God Liverpool have laughed themselves to the bank too many times.
