Artem Dovbyk to Nottingham Forest

According to several reports, newly promoted Premier League side Nottingham Forest are looking to buy Ukrainian striker Artem Dovbyk from Dnipro-1. Dovbyk who is a reserve striker for the Ukrainian national team had a good season in the domestic Ukrainian league before the war in Ukraine broke out. He is also the reserve centre forward for the Ukraine national team, where he has earnt himself a reputation of being a bit of a super sub. Dovbyk has scored twice in Scotland at Hampden Park for Ukraine. He scored Ukraine's winning goal with a diving header against Sweden in last summer's Euros and last week he scored Ukraine's 3rd goal against Scotland, where he broke the offside trap and finished calmly past Gordon. Such goals and performances won't have gone unnoticed by clubs in the UK and now it seems that Dovbyk has seriously got Nottingham Forest's interested in him. 

With no club football looking likely to be played in the Ukrainian league for the foreseeable future, it is likely that Dovbyk's club, Dnipro-1 will be willing to sell him. Nottingham Forest are expected to bid around £10 million(12 million euros) for Dovbyk in the next few days. Dovbyk is a big robust centre forward, who is a strong runner, is good in the air and has a very good shot on him. At 24 years old, he's probably the right age to move to a Premier League club. Leading the line for Nottingham Forest next season in the Premier League will be a big challenge for him though.
