ScoRoss Posted August 6, 2017 Posted August 6, 2017 Is it possible to balance commercial opportunities and having what is the best preparation for the players? And most importantly, is playing glamour games across the world harming their start to the season?
Honey Honey Posted August 6, 2017 Posted August 6, 2017 Rafa said similar here. That we won't be going on there tours because when he was at Real Madrid they couldn't do any training not just because of the travelling but the weather conditions. So we went to Ireland instead
Subscriber Mel81x+ Posted August 6, 2017 Subscriber Posted August 6, 2017 Part of the problem with being a 'global' product is actually doing this kind of stuff for the global audience. if you're happy being continental then that sorts all of this out but sadly the players have no say in this considering their employer is making all the key decisions here. Having said all that I do feel sorry for teams that have to do these long tours because the players get absolutely no rest and while they do get to play I never think it helps properly prepare for a season.
