Got bailed out by a soft pen but I think we were the better team.
Coma 1,767
Also, 6 academy players on the pitch in that match. It's going to be a long season.
Carnivore Chris 2,606
Bellingham has scored 3 in 2 so far, occupying the attacking midfield role, behind the striker. He's going to be a problem for Barcelona's title chances this season that lad, it has to be said. Carnivore Chris 2,606
Yamal getting a start. These players get younger.

What is it with refs turning a blind eye to off-the-ball challenges on Lewandowski? About 5 last week, and Luis Hernandez just shoulder-barged him off the ball but referees/VAR doesn't care to check it

Ref not interested.

That was blatant as fuck that. Even the Argentine commentator has been laughing about it saying it's a blatant pen. What's the point of VAR even existing? Other than that though, the attack has been flat. Looks better since Fati came on though.

Administrator Stan 18,412 Posted August 20, 2023 Author Administrator Share Posted August 20, 2023 Yes Barca! Finally! Pedri slides in after being slotted in by Gundogan, perfectly weighted ball and Pedri gets just about enough on it to score.
Carnivore Chris 2,606
Yes, about time. Pedri. Gundogan with a lovely weighted pass something that has been lacking.
Administrator Stan 18,412 Posted August 20, 2023 Author Administrator Share Posted August 20, 2023 2-0, Ferran! Lewandowski flick-on sends Torres through and he scores with ease.
Carnivore Chris 2,606
Ferrán to make it 2-0. It's been a very difficult game but the substitutions have made an impact.
Coma 1,767
Sevilla, yikes. Lost 4-3 to Alaves. Who'd have guessed Valencia 6 points and Sevilla 0 points from two matches.
