Have now just taken the lead to make it 4-3! Craziest game I've witnessed in quite a while. And it was the "free for all" game where the stadium was full. Fantastic atmosphere and fitting entertainment on the pitch. I'm glad that Ao Tanaka was the match winner for us. He has been great for Japan lately, but rarely showed his talents for Fortuna, and gained a lot of critcism from armchair experts. Today he won the match for us!

Well deserved, since Düsseldorf dominated the second half and were were even the better team at the time they went down, in my opinion.

And yes, we conceded some strange goals out of nowhere, including an own-goal. Picture of the match for me. Ao Tanaka, always performing for his national team, very seldom for Fortuna. Heavily critizised by Fans, even when the line-up was announced, they were moaning that he is starting. And he became the matchwinner by scoring two goals including the winner!
Moderator Tommy 12,624 Posted October 22, 2023 Moderator Share Posted October 22, 2023 The only very negative thing about this game is that some idiot threw a bottle onto the pitch and hit Kaiserslautern's Ache. But I think our own fans pointed him out to security.

Rucksackfranzose 4,390
Apparentely Schalke are in great trouble, yes Karlsruhe are leading 3-0, still was surprised to read Schalke fans stopped supporting their team, since they are known to be very loyal and capable of suffering.
