Reluctant Striker 134 Posted May 9 Share Posted May 9 Yes, really, really bad, just when it mattered. A part of me was expecting 0-2 to Villa tonight. I think injuries & limited squad size have been a part of the drop off in the league & then this battering off Olympiakos. Villa would certainly need to fill out the squad with better quality players to be even slightly serious in whichever upgrade competition they are in next season. Many predicted they'd drop further in the league, but maybe that has been treated as the higher priority. Whatever the reasons, the wait for a trophy continues. 28 years at this point..
